The thing that we as fans can be realistically upset about is the procedure errors. Several false starts, a couple illegal formations (one that cost about 70 yards). Oregon is not forcing them to line up wrong. Need to be better in this area.
And wrapping up. Tackling once again isnt good. I realize these are elite athletes but can’t tuck the head, throw the shoulder and hope.
Feels like guys trying to do too much.

Hahaha. Belligerent your takes suck, but keep them coming. A real thrower that’s runs in mud. That’s what we needed a QB that throws and uses the middle, makes us better.
Even with Tommy we would seen the same thing. We are fine at QB.
You serious? He ain’t why we loss, but he is why we will lose by 40. It’s shocking how some think the grass is greener. The same thing, give me a goddamn break. Tommy would have at least ran for a 100, especially on the reads. Glad we can throw it though. Haha
Skip that last beer. Tommy would not have run for 100 yards against these guys. We're going to be fine on offense. Wtf did you expect today?
Well Vegas didn’t expect this, did you? Don’t get on your horse and act like we were gonna get beat by 50 plus points. Glad we got a thrower.
55-10 was my guess. So bag it. Go have another one. No brain cells left to kill, obviously.

But honestly you don’t think Tommy busts one of the RPOs? I can give you two examples where he would have ran like a horse. I’m just glad we have a thrower, that looks over the middle.
Who cares if he would have? Running a different offense with a different QB. Sleep it off. You're a clown.

The tackling is par for the course though, but god I’m glad we have a thrower now, because that is what held us back.
Waiting for a gotchya moment, especially while our guys are out there playing their butts off is not a good look.
Gotcha, like a tackle? I just find it funny when people say we will be better this year than last year, since we now have a thrower. Not sure those people watch football. Haha
This is Lamson’s fifth career start. He’s completed nearly 75 percent of his passes. He completed less than 50% prior to coming here. I don’t know what the Mellott comparison is about but Lamson is playing well all things considered. This might be the best passing game of his career and it’s playing with an fcs team against a team that has a payroll bigger than some pro teams.

You’re making yourself look like a clown, definitely a loser mentality. You understand what a gotchya is, but for example, your prophecy that we would lose a MT Athlete this year in the portal was god awful.
You’re right, I was wrong on that, but I did hear it from a player. Not sure that makes me a clown, but I may be wrong, and I will take that. Glad we now have a thrower who looks over the middle, makes us a better team.

Yes. Hi line is a drunken buffoon. Who cares if Tommy would have broken a run. Not like we benched him for Lamson. We're going to be just fine or better on offense. #4 in the country getting boat raced at Iowa state. Iowa state would lose to Oregon by 30. There's literally zero to draw from this other than 650 grand.

If anyone isn't happy with Lamson's performance, I don't what to tell you. Maybe it was just a fluke, but it looked like he had great zip on the ball and was very accurate. He put the ball in the right spot for receivers to gain yards after the catch when he needed to. 23 for 31, no INTs and 198 yards. The yardage isn't great for that many passes, but the other team is incredibly fast so getting extra yards was tough.

The worst part of the game was the penalties and blocks. There's nothing MSU or any FCS team could do about the inability to move the ball on the ground. I always say that most games with huge 50+ scores usually have things happen that cause that. The two blocks and the two penalties on the final drive of the half all but gave Oregon 17 points. MSU passing as much as it did helped Oregon's offense as well. Left them more time to work with.
A lot of teams (I recall several games MSU did this) just try to burn the clock out in games like these. Run on first and second, and sometimes third to keep clock moving. MSU came out throwing.

Oregon paid MSU a lot of respect by attacking from the get-go. They weren't going to have a repeat of last year's game vs. Idaho. They went after punts and played aggressively on both sides.

MSU tackled well for the most part and played hard all game.

Jhase McMillan was as advertised. He is not only fast but he's physical. Messed up on the long 40-yarder pass but that's about it.
