How is it possible that the gizz have more 2024 commits than us? wtf? is it the elephant in the room, the fact we are going for higher quality recruits, or we aren't worried about july commits until december?

FCS school that needs help. I know Bucknell is in his home state and it’s a good school, but it’s not very often you see a player pick a poor football program that barely gets 1300 people to a game over an FCS power.

How is it possible that the gizz have more 2024 commits than us? wtf? is it the elephant in the room, the fact we are going for higher quality recruits, or we aren't worried about july commits until december?

I do feel like we are behind in recruiting. Not necessarily to the gris but in the quantity of commitments as a whole. The in state and overall class numbers will even out eventually depending on scholarships etc. Two confirmed commitments for one of the top ranked teams in the country with fall camp starting this week seems a bit off pace. I can only attribute the slow start to the loss of JB this Spring. No announcement has been issued as to who on the staff will be filling that role. There has also been very minimal activity on social media for Summer recruiting visits which has been an emphasis in years past. This year seems to be different but hopefully the end result will be worth the wait….

I've tracked recruiting at a detailed level since 2015 and literally nothing is off pace right now. If anything has changed, it's how FBS is viewing top Montana players. More options leads to longer decisions. Camps were well attended just like prior years. Offers have been made on a regular basis. Not sure what there is to worry about. I guess if we only have two commits at the end of November, then we can sound alarms.

Are those committing revealing secrets. Maybe this part of the plan to let them know out plays, but confuse them by who will be doing the plays in a couple of years.
