MSU is throwing the ball a lot. If they were just running the ball and burning clock to get out of town it would probably limit Iregin scoring.

Zimmer holding up well on the line. Some others, not so much.

Leon needs to up his negotiating game going forward. No more P4 paydays for less than $1M (or $1.5M if scheduled more than 3 years from now) and no more G6 paydays for less than $500K. If we can't get that then just say no. We don't need the cash that badly.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Taco is getting too much NIL exposure. lol.
Sad state of college football when we have to worry about our players doing too well.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do.

This game was originally scheduled in 2019, I assume the price would be significantly higher today.

Oregon is owning both sides of the line, especially the defensive side. Besides the scoreboard, too many penalties and the great field position Oregon is getting (you would expect it to be pretty good, but not this good) nothing unexpected has happened in this game.

MSU has done a great job in coverage considering the DL has gotten no pass rush. That's exactly what I was looking for before the game and it's definitely there.

Offensively, Lamson has made quick reads and crisp throws. MSU isn't going to run on Oregon.

You have to keep in mind the scores and stats don't tell the whole story in any game. I was expecting Oregon to be making some huge plays on offense. The only play over 20 yards was the first play of the game, but even that play had a bright spot with McMillan able to run down their RB. Last year that was probably a TD.

I really hate that we scheduled this game, but if you are a glass is half-full fan:

1. Taco is going to have monster year.
2. I think we have a good QB
3. All things considered, the secondary has held up and not given up big plays.

Time to put in the subs and get ready for next week.

I second that. We are taking big risks with our players going against teams like this. There should be more of a reward for that risk.

It's sad that anyone is worrying about it. That's on them.

Pretty sure Leon is in a full day grimace! Not his best moment, scheduling this one.

That's very encouraging. I haven't been watching him, but that's a nice development. MSU has two players playing out of position and Zimmer/Carr playing their first games.

All things considered, several good things to come out of this game. I'd add Zimmer on Oline and Taylor at LB.

Looks like Taco/Lamson combo will be a good one for the next two years? :D

You know MSU has good OL and DL, so the fact that they're getting owned so much is a testament to how good the Oregon (and probably lots of top teams in the FBS) lines are.

The thing that we as fans can be realistically upset about is the procedure errors. Several false starts, a couple illegal formations (one that cost about 70 yards). Oregon is not forcing them to line up wrong. Need to be better in this area.

Gotta move the sticks. And we're not doing that on the ground. Not close.

This should be one of the primary take-aways from this game by the coaching staff. Time to clean that up before the real games start.

Absolutely. That's probably the biggest weakness in the team so far this year. I really don't think anyone should have a problem with how the offense or defense are playing. Even the special teams coverage has been good. The blocks are bad but Oregon was sending them and Frojker is a frosh. I don't think that's going to continue.

9 plays 52 yds, 4:46. I like that drive coming out of half.
