Cats D got a bit ahead of themselves on that last Idaho drive, if you’re gonna bring pressure you better be sure they can get home in time to make it count. But, I gotta say that the Cats look good on both sides of the ball. Pretty big step on our defensive side over last year, and they’ll only get better. Good effort so far, looking forward to hopefully seeing some offensive movement by the Cats in the second half. The Cats can’t take their foot off the gas, they better smash the pedal on both sides of the ball.

Love the first half! The Defense inspite of that great catch by ISU for the TD is really playing well. Our Offense is going to wear down the ISU D line and some of our runs will pop.

Agreed. Offenses are going to make some plays sometimes, and they made a great play for that touchdown, but we’ve made them work for everything

The offsides was the issue. We were trying to get back inside when the ball was snapped and totally threw off the timing.

Care to explain how? One of the top throwing reams in the fcs had 14 passing yds through the 1st qtr and half way through the 2nd.

They look great as long as they keep their foot on the gas. Making both QB rush every throw when they bring pressure.

Tommy looks really good throwing on the move, I hope they keep rolling him out.

2nd half we need to go back to the misdirection into we get them worn down. The edges are still weak, he have to attack this, which we are. PA pass is looking good. Tommy is throwing stone really good balls. Wr have to catch them. It gets us off schedule then the defense can dial us up.

Defensively we have to keep mixing up coverages. They are staying true to what they do... in the pocket quick pads game every roll out or dirty roll out had been a deep ball. We started figuring it out and decaying with the lb and the throws have been errant. Continue to let the front deal the run and secondary handle the pass, so we don't mess up our eyes. Our 1st dline gets pressure, 2ndb we have to blitz.

I don't like Johnson out there with the club. He's favoring that hand is is messing with him being able to be physical on certain routes. Jmo, let him heal
