That is the most Bobby Hauck win ever. One offensive touchdown in regulation. BOO!
Great point. Furman with offensive 4 TD’s and the gris with 1. Crazy stat.
Well, then I guess the Griz just apologize for the win and advance. Here’s a tip though: special teams. Success not by accident, but by design.
Missed two 42-yard FGs on Special Teams though that made it go to OT. That was a weird game.
Totally agree with you.

Bergen made himself a bunch of money with that performance on national tv.

Well, I guess I disagree with a bunch of these posts. UM was a 21 point favorite at one point last week (it eventually dropped down to 14 as many bettors bet on Furman) Everyone was expecting an easy game, including me. It was a trap game. The point is, UM found a way to win. Just as they found a way to win against Idaho. Call it luck or whatever, but winning the close games is what it's all about. We DIDN'T find a way to win in close games against SDSU, Idaho and NDSU. Just because UM didn't win impressively against Furman doesn't mean they won't show up big time against NDSU---assuming of course that NDSU beats SD.

Wow, the sdsu quarter final game is on the main espn channel. Glad the FCS is getting such good national attention these days.

Funny tweets from last night:

MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Unfortunately looks like the weather kept some fans away today in Brookings.

I don’t think it’s anything unusual there.

Yes, the attendance looks absolutely pitiful for a such an important game. It's 25 degrees and windy and
no snow. What's the problem? Not a good look. If their fans are this whimpy they should build a dome.

Pathetic showing by their fans. Stadium is maybe half-full.

Seattle to Billings to Missoula to Bozeman to Portland to Billings

What a ride

Villanova takes a small lead in Brookings. Still early but surprising.

30 mph winds will keep a lot of fair weather fans away.

Nova seems to be the more physical team.

They probably wouldn’t have sold out when MSU was there had it not been for the Bobcat fans.

Sdsu not looking like sdsu so far. They look more like a team that expects the trophy to just be handed to them.

And Villanova has some juice now, with the lead and the wind and the ball at the 40 of sdsu.

Huge turn of events there. Villanova drops a TD catch. Then 3rd and 4 gets a delay of game, then gets Sacked.
Then blocked punt for TD and sdsu takes the lead.
Unreal!!!

Man, ST bailing out the top seeds when the offenses can't do anything. Hope Vigen is watching...

42 total yards for the Jacks in the first half. Wow!! A powerhouse!
