Well, since it took us 41 years to repeat as a NC in the FCS I would be hesitant to say that our time has come. The Mountain West is not the SEC, Big 10, ACC, etc. and I can see MSU competing against a few of those teams, but at best we would be middle of the pack in that conference.

If the FCS continues to lose membership I wish the NCAA would come up with a division between the FCS and FBS. Otherwise it's a NO vote for me. Go ahead NDSU. We won't miss you.

Same. At least this season we can say we beat the team that beat them. Playoffs is going to feel a lot smaller with NDSU gone. I know I’m the minority here but at some point we’re not a big fish in a small pond, we’re a big fish in a bucket when the only competition left is the gris.

Maybe I’m the only one, but I don’t want NDSU to move up. If they move up, I want us, um, sdsu, and usd to move up all together in the hopes we would be in the same conference. I guess I don’t fall into the team that is happy for NDSU to move up because they have been so dominant in FCS. Hated it when JMU and Sam Houston moved up as well. I’m not against moving up, I just want traditional powers or successful teams to still play each other.

I think this is pretty normal. Most of us who are resigned to moving up only want to do so because the FCS has been so watered down. I'd much prefer JMU, Sammy, etc to drop down, but thats not going to happen.

Ditto. I don’t like that NDSU leaves alone. It definitely dilutes the FCS and leaves fewer quality teams. Sam Houston, JMU and NDSU are the only teams besides SDSU and the Cats to win a championship in the last 14 or so years. It is just sad. I don’t see a scenario where UM and MSU and SDSU move up for a number of years now. But who knows.

No I think this is a majority opinion. There is a loud minority when it comes to this subject but anyone with a brain can see without NDSU, without Sam Houston, without JMU and on and on the National Championship at this level becomes pretty hollow.

I'd say they'd be idiots for turning down an opportunity to move up that might not come again if they decline it.

If the MWC is finally ready to dip into the FCS, the Montana schools, SDSU, and Davis are the next logical choices. Those additions would put it back near the top of the G6 conferences.

I thought UCD had some sort of deal with the MWC that they would be the next team to join?
