Dick Zier
I just heard Dick passed away today. For those that were at the game, he was the one that was interviewed on the jumbo tron before the game with Steve. Dick also is the one that built that bobcat truck that they use in all of the promotions.

Bummer. Met him a couple times…seemed like a hell of a nice guy. Saw him on the big screen in nashville.Hi-Line Bobcat wrote: ↑Fri Jan 23, 2026 7:43 pmI just heard Dick passed away today. I could be wrong, but i think his bobcat truck is different than what is used in the r bar commercials.
Best wishes to his friends and family.

I knew the owner of that pickup was from Billings, as I'd seen it a number of times over the past few years. Even have pictures of it in my phone
Didn't know the man, but condolences all the same. Lots of Ziers here in Billings! So special that he was in Nashville to experience the Natty.
Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Dick was an amazing man who has done a ton for the Billings Community. He was one of the men who really got the new ice arena and rec center off the ground. Without him it would not be happening. I think I still owe him some money from our cat Griz bets. I’m so happy he got to see the cats win the NC in Nashville. He will definitely be missed.

Couldn't agree more @BDizzle. Those rec arenas will make a big difference in Billings and Dick really cared.BDizzle wrote: ↑Sat Jan 24, 2026 3:40 pmDick was an amazing man who has done a ton for the Billings Community. He was originally in Lewistown before Billings. I was on the statewide board with him in the late 90's early 2000's.
