Bottom line... Their only two losses were to the CATS, who went on to win the national championship. The ultimate nightmare to their fairy tale season. Now they know they have to live with it, until who knows when. It has to be very depressing if you're a griz fan.
Pooooooooooooooooooor grizzlies. ESG Go CATS Go!

It will be humiliating for eternity for the griz fans. The Bobcat national championship will be remembered forever because of its history, and the 2 losses the griz suffered against the cats will be remembered forever since it's the first time in history that we played in the regular season and post season in the same year. On top of that the Griz had a perfect season, but then lost to the cats twice. Ouch. It should be a fun game in Bozeman next year

My first in person Cat/griz was when they showed up in Bozeman with their shirts depicting a Bobcat taking it from behind with some reference to 16th win and 16 being the age of consent. And this from a group of people literally walking through the tailgates in Bozeman looking to antagonize any Cat fan they passed. They could be nasty.

I probably spend too much time on egriz and that sours me towards many of them. There's a lot of good dudes and dudettes over there. And tone doesn't come across in text alot of the time.

And by the way, whoever said they refer to the duck pond as the sewage pond, thats not correct. The pond for retaining water we used for watering in the sunmers, that was behind the stadium is what they're talking about. Which admittedly did resemble a settling pond.

So. Much. This. I remember the hats and shirts with a grizzly bear performing acts on a Bobcat in 14 different positions. I remember FTC in the early hauck years. Not being worthy of montana so just "state." The funny thing, though, in all their hubris when they brought Bobby back, they didn't take time to notice what "little brother" was building. Now we own them, and they cry about our ESG thing.
I've been and am still in the camp that mony mony/ESGGCG should be kept on the shelf and used only for cat griz occasions, but reading this letter, hearing from others that it bothers them like it does, is making me reconsider. I'll just say what they always used to say: "if you don't like it, how about beating us, then you can say whatever you want."

I ran into a couple of friends that are gris fans last weekend and they ALL brought up the Mony Mony thing completely unprompted. It's almost like that song lives in their heads rent free
