Good to see!

It's too bad really that the players almost have to do this in this portal age. But it does give some confidence to the fans for sure.

I know some lament the announcements- I kinda think they’re fun!

With Ty Gregorak interview with Colter he made the comment “why the hell does somebody need to tweet that they’re staying!”
By the way, that’s not a shot at anybody being excited about the social announcement. Just thought it was funny. That is the world we live in.

I'm happy to see them too! I'm just thinking the players feel obligated, and that's a bit unfortunate. Of course that's why some of them make comments like "duh" and "whoever said I was leaving?" AhYat and Gillman had fun with their announcements, making it seem like they were leaving. Might as well have fun with it. I've enjoyed the creativity of some of them for sure!

Yup it is. But to a degree I agree with Ty. It shouldn't be necessary, but it kinda is.

What would we do without social media and especially X?

I'm honestly shocked we were able to hang on to nearly all of our top players. Vigen, his staff, the athletics staff, President Tessman, alumni/donors...etc. have really stepped up this year. Kudos to everyone...LET'S RUN THIS THING BACK!!!!

I fully agree with you, but it really helps that the majority of the excellent players who could have left for elsewhere were Montana players. Huge reason why getting the best of the in-state players is so important.

Without a doubt. It's pretty special in your home state, for the biggest and best university in the state.

Cats are the clear preseason #1. Not that they wouldn't have been but they are the defending National Champions (typing that will never get old) and now survived the portal better than most of the other top teams. They are in a tier by themselves.

Team meeting was yesterday, correct? Will Coach Vigen do any kind of press conference now?

I was thinking about this the other day. I'd say there was around 15 thousand Bobcat fans in Nashville for the game and thousands of more watching back home. There are currently around 800 QB club members. I know, people give to MSU in a variety of ways and not everyone can afford the $1K for yearly QB club dues, but can you imagine if the Cats could get another one thousand QB club members and what that would do for team, NIL, etc.? Sheesh!

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.
