If this is approved I wonder if, and how quickly, the FCS will follow suit or if it would just automatically happen for all D1.

Interesting, I also wonder how this might affect all the other sports that currently don't have the benefit of the "partial season redshirt" rule that exists for football.

Maybe basketball changes (I don't know what their rules are) but I don't see any other sports changing. Nobody cares about them.

Showing pressure on fourth down in overtime. They bring pressure. Lamson throws...Endzone! Caught! TOUCHDOWN!!! Taco Dowler!

And a kick away from a championship.

Here we go. Miles Sansted. Snap, hold, kick, Up, GOOOOD!! FOR A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!

Until players from other sports decide to sue the NCAA because football is getting a special deal nobody else has...and we all know how well the NCAA has been doing lately defending lawsuits against them.

Out of the eight NFL playoff teams still left, four of them have former Bobcat players on their rosters.

I've never paid so much attention on special teams plays. BEAR DOWN!

MSU football should put out a tweet wishing them all good luck. Recruits see that and it reinforces the quality of our program.

Conference championships

MSU won nine BSC titles in the first 22 years (1963-84) of the league.

None the next 17 years (1985-2001).

Nine the last 24 years (2002-25) or 23 discounting the Covid season.

(MSU won five RMAC titles during its 40 years there)

23 conference championships and four national championships.

MSU - 17 team National Champions (most recent 2025); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

The last article I saw on Valdez mentioned that he was elevated to the active roster in week 15.

A long time ago I went to a Nebraska game. We were able to tour some of the facilities. They had an area where they highlighted all their heisman trophy winners. Does anyone know if the BAC has a replica of Tommy’s Walter Payton Award on display?

JJ Dolan won a National Championship with the Cats. JJ's father, Nate Dolan, won National Championship with the gris in 1995. I have to think it's pretty dang rare for a father and son duo to win National Championships with separate schools/teams, let alone the Cats and the gris.

The Big Sky conference headquarters has a replica or Tommy's Payton award. I have no idea if the BAC does as well..

Does anybody know of or think they will make coat patches for this national championship? I have an 84 natty jacket, and I want to add this year’s team championship to it?
I know someone online that made the 1984 patches. I have two or three of them. I’m going to have them make me a 2025 patch and, maybe, a 1956 and 1976 patch as well.

This is the patch I had made.

This patch is as exact as I could get to the patch worn on the players 1984 championship jackets. I have two of those jackets. The jackets, caps too, were re-made last season by an Asian company and you see various people wearing them.

I also have a 1984 championship game watch, a t-shirt, various prints, and other items.

Here is a picture of the original jacket patch.
