Is waiting 2 weeks too long for a celebration?

Maybe waiting for all students to come back. And yeah its Cat/griz. But I wish there was something this weekend.

After a very long season I think it's entirely reasonable to let the players spend this week with their families (or on vacation in Mexico) and then to have the celebration once they're all back for Spring semester.

It's probably so the students can celebrate (as well as Cat/Griz). And maybe hopefully a banner to be unveiled in the Brick?

Portal management in both directions take priority and that ends on the 16th. I'm not surprised by the timing. It's a gift to have this correspond with the Brawl home games. The team will probably come out at halftime for recognition.

Bring the trophy out before the game. Have it sit out the entire game so that every griz fan and player has to stare at it!

Yeah with all the students involved it would be kind of a disservice to the student body and other groups participating to have it this weekend. They would really struggle to put a band together (among other things) this weekend. Plus tying it in to Cat Griz bball is pretty epic. They GOTTA hang that banner Saturday night in front of that crowd.

The delayed celebration also probably helps the staff focus on player retention. Whether intentional or not it can’t hurt

Walk the trophy around the court at each time out. Can't overdo it.

While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

Maybe by then the good championship gear will be available

Seems kind of crazy that Under Armour is the official apparel sponsor and there’s hardly anything available from them yet

You do realize they gave up their Thanksgiving and maybe even some of their Christmas to win a National championship. Some of them went home after the championship, maybe even all to spend with their family. So to ask them to come back so we could have a celebration this weekend is kinda of a silly ask. Let them enjoy their time off since they have given up so much of it.

Rest In peace dad.

I just love the fact that one of our biggest worries is when/how long until we have a National Championship celebration. Feels pretty great.

I went to the MSU Bookstore front in the mall yesterday and dropped over $200 on Under Armour championship gear. They also had other brands too, but no shortage of Under Armour if thats specifically what you are looking for (The UA stuff is noticeably higher quality IMO).

I saw some tee shirts and a white hoodie when I was up there. Universal has a page of “coming soon” options that are more what I’d like to find

Something like this. And I haven’t seen any other than this

Scheels in Billings and Universal in Billings have some nice t-shirts, hoodies, etc but only Scheel's has hats so far. They are not nice hats at all. I just talked to Universal and they were hoping theirs would come today but they did not. They are counting on Monday. I did get a nice flag at Scheels and some stickers as well.

I know it from one of SNLs best celebrity jeopardy skits. It was final jeopardy and the Sean Connery's awswer was "Buck" and his wagers was "Futter"
