Clearly late to the party, so how many have entered the portal so far? Just the 2 corners?

Those are the only two that have announced it at this point, it's entirely possible that others have entered the portal. I'd guess we'll hear more later this week once the players have had a chance to be back home for a day or two. Simple math (20 incoming recruits > 9 seniors) means more current players will be leaving the roster one way or another.

So far no surprises. I think we all knew we would loose Williams and possibly 1-2 more db’s.

Just lurking and watching portal news, but this is the second time today that I’ve seen a cat fan/student misspell “lose” as “loose”. Is this some sort of inside joke or does MSU not have an English department?

I feel I should know the answer to this but when a player enters the portal they have to wait until the feb signing period to go to the new team correct? So possibly miss out on spring ball?

I don't think so, I think as long as they are able to get enrolled at new school for spring semester they are able to fully participate.

Correct, portal players can sign with a new team at any time once they have entered. Signing periods only apply to high school players.

This position group had the most improvement this year and it feels like we’re going to be starting over again. Enormously thankful for their efforts this year, however. A BIG reason that trophy came back to Bozeman today.

Yea I was hoping at least 1 of the 3 RS freshman CB’s would return to start next to Carr next year (hoping he’s back) so we didn’t have to completely start over with that group again. But…. Oh well I guess.

The way I would recruit these almost Power 4 DB'S in Texas is....give us two years, one to learn our defense and one to play. After that you can do what you like, but Power 4 teams will have an idea of what you can do and you make more money than if you went as a freshman.
