I just passed a small group of red bird fans walking out of the elevator at the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum. I heard one guy say, “They’re everywhere.” =D^

And they are. The museum is overflowing with Cat fans.
That's just awesome!!

This bar has six Illinois State flags flying but all of them are upside down. Yeeesh.

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

Quote heard from Bobcat fan inside the museum, "If you swung a dead cat in here you'd hit at least 10 Bobcat fans."

Not sure how he came up with that, but I am sure it's true!

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14, but 34-11 will do, but 48-23 may be the best of all.

Idaho fans here. They couldn't have been that delusional to purchase tix in advance.

Even if your team isn't playing, there are way less enjoyable ways to spend a long weekend than hanging out in Nashville followed by an interesting football game on Monday night. Given the reports I'm hearing from Nashville I'm absolutely planning a trip for next year's game and would still go even if MSU doesn't play in the game.

We met a guy wearing Vandal gear and have seen him a few times now. He ran track for U of I back in the day but his kid goes to MSU. He enjoys telling the story.

I spotted my first Redbird earlier, he was from Normal and wanted to talk basketball.

I get the feeling this contest may end up feeling like a home game. Hope so. Get Loud!

Looks like the ISU fans are starting to show up and congregate at the ever so fitting "Lucky Bas**rd Saloon"! What a fitting name for one of their official joints. Surely it had to be a self aware joke LOL

I going to go out on a limb and say a large flock of Red Birds will migrate south the morning of the game. That way, they only have to roost in Nashville one night.

6800 fans at the big Cat bash tonight. Atmosphere was electric. Hugged Cody Kirk. I am content.

Difference is Cat vs cat. You can swing a cat, but not a Cat.

There is absolutely no doubt that tomorrow will be a “home” game for the Cats. This town is overrun with blue and gold.

Someone made a pretty wise observation telling me that perhaps the reason we outnumber the Redbird fans in Nashville right now is that they suffered a lot of travel fatigue over their four games and are driving to the game tomorrow (Monday) being six hours away.

Not sure if "travel fatigue" would really be an issue, watching ISU's games against Davis and Villanova I don't think they had more than 100 or so fans at either game and presumably most of those were family members of players & coaches. It would make sense that since most of their fans are probably driving, that they may not make a full weekend of the game like the MSU fans have who predominantly had to fly. MSU will heavily outnumber ISU at the game tomorrow, there's not really a doubt of that. I'm sure ISU will bring several thousand fans though that will do a nice job of supporting their team.

You shake a tree in Nashville and 5 cat fans would fall out of it. Absolutely everywhere in this town

That is absurd. We are cats we would hang on tight when you shake that tree.

Just hearing for three days how many Bobcat fans are here should motivate ISU fans to get down here today. They were trickling in last night.
