I think the FCS needs to make a serious consideration about moving this game to Nashville for good. I can’t make it this year, but just looking at photos and watching people’s videos, I would rather be in Nashville this year than Frisco last year.
Well we do get two years in Nashville for certain….this year and next. Not sure after that.

I suspect a lot will depend on attendance and energy from these two years…as well as length of contract remaining with Frisco site.

Maybe it'll move to the new Titans Stadium with climate controlled comfort...

I’m at the Omni, a Bobcat hotel, and it’s packed with fans. Close to downtown too. I can already tell that’s Nashville is 100% better than Frisco. I can actually walk to restaurants, tourist sights, and bars without needing an Uber to get around.

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

While Nashville doesn’t have the flight volume for affordable airfare, it’s miles better than Frisco in nearly all aspects. I too hope it stays in Nash Vegas.
The flights are a big problem. Almost wonder if there was some sort of bus charter from Atlanta for fans, if that would help. I talked to several who flew there, or Cincinnati, or st Louis. But so far it doesn't look to have been that big a detriment, there were just so many cat fans out and about last night and I know of a bunch more who got in late yesterday, expect to see more today.

This! Also at the Omni. 1000% Better! It’s like there are 7,000 bobcats all within a miles distance. All surrounded with restaurants and bars.

We were in the elevator this morning with a hotel manager at the omni) someone else asked him how was business.

He said we are usually really busy but Christmas was a little down this year.

Elevator stops. Door opens and my husband says "Merry Christmas "

😁

Took me three elevators changes and two smart little kids to teach me that you needed to scan your room card to get the elevator to run to your hotel room floor. Put the frigin key instruction at eye level, not down near the floor of the elevator! :(

We are at the Springhill right across the street from the Omni. You are absolutely right. 100 percent better than Frisco in every way. The vibes are extremely high. We literally high fived 5-10 Cat fans on every crosswalk. We are taking over Nashville! Have only seen one Redbird group since this morning.

Visited with Davis's dad, and Eckert's parents in the Honky Tonk bar... They were class acts. There were Cat fans in every bar we went to tonight. Heard Mony Mony about 20 times in 6 different spots. It has been an unreal turnout by our fans. We ran into Illinois State fans who were overwhelmed, and absolutely blown away by our numbers around the downtown area. One guy is a bartender in Normal Illinois. He said since ISU has come and shut down his bar in Normal the last four weeks, they haven't lost in the playoffs. He offered to buy tickets for his ISU buddies to come and join him in Nashville, but he had no takers. He said he has nothing but respect for our fanbase and is blown away by our team spirit that has been shown by our passionate fans who are fortunate enough to be here. All I can say is great job tonight Cats!!! We should all be proud of what we have shown so far in Nashville. We cleaned Barstool's weekend allotment of Coors Light in 1 and a half nights, and it was only Friday! They are now all out of the $5 Coors special, and I'm assuming the Fireball is also running low! Hope they restock😂

We’re staying at The Joseph which included lots of credits and amenities. I can’t imagine a better city to host the FCS championship. Never ending places for eat, drinks and entertainment. Great to have a stadium with 34,000 capacity which is just about perfect. Frisco is pitifully too small. And you don’t want be in a stadium where you get swallowed up. The game is treated as a big deal here which would certainly not be the case in Las Vegas for example.

Ask any bobcat fan who made the trip. If you haven’t had a great time something’s wrong.

Gotta win though to cap it off!
