So happy for the indoor practice facility this month.
Might that be the difference maker?
Does Illinois State have one?
They have a bubble.

I took this Friday morning before the regular season Cat Griz. It is an eye-sore along the Clark Fork.

Those geniuses also put it directly across from one of the nicest hotels in town. So now their river view rooms have a giant eyesore blocking the rest of the view

If the Cats win Monday, it will provide a lot of momentum for the program and would be an ideal time to fundraise. Replacing the east grandstands seems to be the final piece to the puzzle to make MSU the premier program in FCS football.

Agreed. Once the stadium is complete, Is there anything left to do?

Yeah, lots of stuff. Check out the new facilities plan.

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

Continue building and improving. By all means the east side renovation and some kind of endzone/north corner seating is the priority.

But after that, west side renovation should be on the radar. Might be a ways out, but it’d be silly to not improve that at some point. It’ll be the oldest part of the stadium with the smallest amount of seats once the other parts are done. Renovate the west with new boxes and more seats to match whatever the east side becomes.

That’s way down the road, but the point is, yes, there are always things to do and improve on. The stadium is not a finished product after these next two phases that were all excited to get done.

This. The West side has the fewest seats (even less than the current East side which will be (we expect) the next upgrade. Also could fill in the corners and replace the temporary boxes/seating in the north end zone with a more permanent solution.

Why can't msu do the expansion in multi steps as they raise the money. Fill in corners at both ends. More revenue. Complete the north end zone. More revenue. More box seats somewhere. More money.

Why wait ?

That's essentially what will happen and has happened over the last couple decades. The wait is likely due to donor burnout. I can't imagine the donor pool expands significantly, or much at all, each time we want to do something football related. These guys only have so much money so it makes sense to ask/build in stages with 3-7 year gaps in between.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!
