Anyone know why MSU got visitor side even though higher rated team. Do they flip a coin!? Does Vanderbilt or NCAA make decision based on who they think will travel best so load home team with that? Just symbolism of it……MSU should be home seed team with #2 ranking.

Just looking at cartoonish representation on the “seat view” link sent out earlier, all the lower section seating on home side have backs on the benches…visitor side has none…I know I know not a worry for younger folks but older backs enjoy a back rest on occasion!

Prevailing wind seems to be into face of visitors seating and coming behind home team.

Just needing something to gripe about today!
Looked to me we got more seats.

And our sections will be on TV more, so it will look better for the broadcast.

This may be a more important reason than we realize. I did notice they had picked sides even before the semifinal game. They certainly knew then that either Montana team would draw better than Villanova or Illinois state.

And still 500 seats for sale in the ISU core. Not counting edges and resale.

And does anyone know, did all of our allocation sell out so none to be released?

Yes, Cats allocation sold out. I am a season ticket holder and requested tickets. I didn't qualify as they were sold out.

questioned the same

from what I heard, the home and visitor SIDE is determined before playoffs by the #1 and 2 ranked sides of the bracket. NDSU ranked 1 so whoever goes to the natty from that side of the bracket gets home side of the stadium. For ticket sales presumably.

However, the higher ranked team in the final is the home team in terms of jersey selection. So we are home blue jerseys.

I’m wondering if the #1 seed gets to decide. At home we are not on the press box side so perhaps we are trying to replicate home field advantage as much as possible. Also, our coaches in the press box will have a behind the scene view of their sideline from that vantage point.

Received ours. Two transferred, and into Apple wallet. Transferred one more that hasn’t been accepted yet. Tried to transfer last three, but got a message that one is pending, or ineligible to transfer. Not sure if the single ticket has to be accepted before I can transfer the remaining.
All I can say is I transferred 4 in two separate transactions and it worked fine.

But I do have another friend that is having problems too. Another friend going over to help her.

Maybe system overload today so just try again tomorrow? Is the phone number you used current and correct? Does the receiver know how to set up account to receive tickets and download? I don’t know that any of that is true…just throwing out questions/ideas?
Thanks for the suggestions. This morning, after the single ticket recipient had accepted their ticket, I proceeded to transfer the last three tickets. All six tickets appeared to have transferred successfully, and are reported to be in the recipients Apple wallets. Have fun!

FYI- I purchased 2 tickets thru Stub Hub. The process was very smooth as compared to AXS last year. The owner of the tickets contacted me via email and transferred via text once I shared my number.
That’s weird, because that’s not how it typically goes at least for me. Once you upload tickets to a third party seller and someone buys them, you have no contact with that person. I sell plenty of tickets, and that has never happened. Maybe you’re speaking of the automation part, but I never see who I sell to. Maybe it’s because I always have the tickets and it’s not a future sale deal?
I spoke a tad early. There were a few bumps that had to be ironed out. As for the contact with the seller, they initiated the contact via email shortly after I bought the tickets on S.H. so that info (my email) came from S.H. contrary to their policy if I read it correctly? The tickets had to be transferred again but went directly into my “wallet”.

Does anyone know if the endzones and midfield logo will be changed?

I was wondering the same. I believe it’s artificial turf but if you use the right type of paint it can be done.

For what it’s worth, ChatGPT says it takes 20-40 minutes to get through security at First Bank Stadium for sold out events.

Yes, purchased a ticket for the 25th Avenue parking garage on campus about two blocks from the stadium. Came out to about $38.00 after fees/tax but cheaper than the lots right next to the stadium and cheaper than taking an Uber to and from. Sorry unable to post the link but Google Vanderbilt football parking and see what comes up.

I can't figure out this parking thing. Everything I find will give me a map but how do I actually buy a parking pass. I clicked on the link and it takes me to the map, nothing about where to buy. I googled Vanderbilt parking and it takes me to a map but no link to buy a pass.

We reserved an Uber from downtown area that is costing us about $14 to get to Natchez Field The other day it was about $7 for approximately the same trip
