4000? Where are you seeing this? I saw 10,000 for ndsu, 10,000 for Youngstown, 7,700 for N. Iowa, 7,000 for SIU.BobCatFan wrote: ↑Wed Dec 31, 2025 11:57 amOw way. So anywhere from 20,000 to 26,000. That would be a solid turnout for MSU against a non -DSU school!
My prediction; 2000 ISU fans. 20,000 bobcat fans.

That would be super cool, and I really hope we see that kind of a turnout. I'm still skeptical though, just looking at the history. Below is the attendance for the past 25 years. Cracked 23,000 once. Average is 18,000. These were all played in Chattanooga and Frisco, which I think are similar capacity. For the people predicting 20,000 Cat fans, and\or 30,000 total, are you thinking that moving to a bigger stadium will drastically spike the # of Cats fans that made the trip in 2021 or 2024... because a lot of people stayed home the past two times thinking they wouldn't be able to get tickets due to limited seating capacity? You don’t think people are more apt to go to Nashville than Chattanooga or Frisco? Seems like the more casual fans and fans on the fence might be swayed to go due to it being in Nashville.catatac wrote: ↑Thu Jan 01, 2026 5:55 pmThat would be super cool, and I really hope we see that kind of a turnout. I hope so! I remember being blown away by the number of Cats that showed up in 2021, first time making it there in forever. Then last year when it was "Our Year", and many of us felt it was destiny, 40th anniversary from last one, Tommy and all the other insane talent, undefeated, etc. Again, I really hope we get even more at this one, but I know several people that went to the last two, and aren't going this year. Maybe the big surprise will be huge # fans coming from the Midwest and Eastern US, etc. Tougher to get to Nashville than Frisco, from MT at least. I just don't think it's realistic to think there will be 20,000 Cat fans here. I also don't think Ill St. will travel as well as NDSU, SDSU, or UM. Again, I'm hoping I'm wrong and the Cats get 15,000 to 20,000 fans there, Ill St. gets under 10,000, and we all shatter the record for all time attendance for the FCS Chipper!TomCat88 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 01, 2026 9:30 pmYou don’t think people are more apt to go to Nashville than Chattanooga or Frisco? I’d say flights were more difficult this time. Game tickets will be under $50 bucks come game time. Tickets have NEVER been a problem. I agree, $160 tickets by NCAA this year was dumb but that did not prevent anyone from going. I wouldn't think the NCAA would give preferential treatment to one school over the other, for 1. Second, we got the visitor side because our side of the bracket was the lower seeded half of the bracket if things went chalk.Montanabob wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 1:52 pmNCAA ticket sales has released tickets from ISU and they are now for sale. ISU had 3 sections.
MSU has 4 sections, that is why we got the visitor side - more seats to sell to us.
Fans got apathetic with the dynasty they had. Additionally, NDSU's ticket prices are higher than MSU's so many fans are skipping games, saving hundreds of dollars with the expectation they'll be in the chipper. Welp... the Redbirds put them in the chipper all right. Just like in the movie Fargo.Cataholic wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 2:52 pmThings are not great in Bisonville. Many more than you think. When we went in 2022, I bought fantastic seats around the 35 yard line (albeit in the NDSU section) for cheap as we were sitting in the Cody airport waiting for our delayed flight. This was on the recommendation of many Bison fans on the Any Given Saturday FCS forum who obviously had many years of experience. In a stadium the size of FirstBank, game tickets are not the problem; travel is. There's pretty good seats around the 25, Row 14 for under $100 right now. I feel you! Waiting for ticket prices to drop though is a risk, especially if you are buying for a group of people wanting to sit together. No guarantee you will find that many together. That’s the situation I found myself in. They aren’t going to make plans until tickets have been secured.
