Re: Nashville Attendance
Counted around 500 open on MSU's side on the official NCAA website. Another 1000 or so on the secondary market via SeatGeek, StubHub, and VividSeats. Looks like we should have a good turnout on both sides as of right now! Just hope we can fill in the empty spaces lower towards the sidelines and have everyone move down to fill the empty pockets as the game goes on. I think we might actually be realistically seeing 25,000 plus in attendance for this game. Should be a good atmosphere

Re: Nashville Attendance
Hey BobcatDel,
Since you're already in Nashville, what are your thoughts about the food opportunities near the Saturday night and Sunday night events?
Also, I think you and I lived in the same city for a while. Is your email from 2010 still good (I'll try it)? You may already have my email address, if not, you can figure it out from the watch party website.
My wife and I got our tickets half-price from a neighbor who went to NDSU, thanks to his overconfidence and thanks to Illinois State.

On the NCAA website, sections P and V have some seats left on our side. There was another section on our side with seats available earlier today, but that is now sold. There are a bunch of seats on SeatGeek for sale, even seats in the main allotment section somehow.Montanabob wrote: ↑Tue Dec 30, 2025 6:33 pmWhere are you seeing tickets for the bobcats on the NCAA site? Ha! No worries, just use the tickets to get into the stadium and then move over and sit with the rest of the Cat fans. There will be plenty of open seats in that stadium, obviously.
Great time to be a BOBCAT!

Re: Nashville Attendance
That would be super cool, but I question how that would happen? Don't get me wrong, I really hope it does. I just look at the last ten years with the Frisco game averaging 18,000 or 19,000 and normally NDSU fans have absolutely overtaken that town... so now sure how we think we'd see a huge increase this year, especially with Nashville being tougher to get to for MT fans. I was blown away by the # of Cat fans at the tailgates and game in 2021 and 2024, I would love it if we could get even more at this one.BlueAndGoldNation wrote: ↑Tue Dec 30, 2025 5:13 pmCounted around 500 open on MSU's side on the official NCAA website. Re: Nashville Attendance
All I could go off of is the amount of tickets left on the market. Just did some quick research looking at all the sites and there aren't as many listings for seats as we all think. Like I said, the official website only had around 500 seats left on MSU's side. There was around 1,500 on ISU's side. The total listings for tickets on the resale market between the three main ticket sites were surprisingly low. There were only 1000 seats on our side for the resale sites, and maybe 1300 on the other. There could be more that get listed closer to the game, but as of right now, there aren't that many tickets in circulation right now.catatac wrote: ↑Tue Dec 30, 2025 9:38 pmThat would be super cool, but I question how that would happen? I think it will surprise alot of people how many people will show up to this game. ISU is only 6.5 hours away from Nashville. They will travel, and have in the past to a big game like this. 10,000 showed up to Frisco in 2014 for them. I think they can replicate that pretty easily this year, especially with closer proximity.
As for MSU, there a lot of MT based people will struggle getting out to Nashville due to flight availability. However, there are plenty of MT based people that I know who are renting a car, driving one way, and flying back after the game. There are also a HUGE amount of out of state Alumni and fans that have way easier access to get to this game with cheap direct flights. I am meeting 4 others at the game who are from different parts of the country, and they were stoked to be able to go to a place like Nashville and possibly witness MSU history.
Nashville is an awesome host city for this game. There are so many things to do besides the game, that it will only drive more people to go to this game and have a mini vacation surrounding it. Our fans are also smart, they know this is probably the best chance we've had at a title in 41 years, and they will move heaven and earth to be there to witness the hoisting of that trophy. Don't underestimate our fanbase! We are the most passionate in the FCS, regardless of what the Bizon or Gris say.

Both the events for Saturday and Sunday are less than a block off Broadway. So any of the BBQ or other places mentioned by posters that are located in or just off Broadway are relatively close.RobertSebastianCat-81 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 30, 2025 6:12 pmHey BobcatDel,

My wife and I got our tickets half-price from a neighbor who went to NDSU, thanks to his overconfidence and thanks to Illinois State.
I’m hoping you realize that Saturday event is at Assembly Hall which is a collection of 30 pubs or food venues. I’ve never eaten at any place in there but gotta have something decent…online reviews are 4.7. Website is below:
https://www.assemblyfoodhall.com/
Hattie Bs the Southern Fried Spicey chicken place is within a stones throw of Assembly Hall. Literally even with my 7 decade plus old arm I could have broke a window with a rock! And if you gave me two throws I might be able to hit Sunday venue! The line outside was 30 yards long to get in to Hattie Bs so we didn’t stick around. My daughter said to go to Mellow Mushroom which has great pizza and beer which is where we went because they had a very good female singer….sounded like Ella Langely…and daughter was right on pizza. Another friend said to go to the Palm which is right there also. Rippy’s Ribs is right there too.
I’m a little more concerned about Sunday event. Large gathering with performers..beer and food for sale in an “arena like” setting but not sure what quality of food will be like so might eat before coming. But I bet I will be able to get a beer burger or brat there which will suffice.
My main message would be that Broadway in Nashville is not like a 5 mile walk. It is pretty compact and you can find a lot of little bars like Roberts, Laylas, Palm, Hattie Bs, BBQ joints within a relatively short walk! And my goodness the Uber was cheap…. We are at a motel about 1.5 miles from Broadway and it was $6.30 getting downtown and $8.30 coming home (plus a tip).
You could even walk it but as mentioned earlier morning temp was 23 with a 15 mph wind so we waited until got closer to 30 and used Uber.
I personally would just eat at Assembly Hall Saturday and pick one of the BBQ places folks raved about and go there on Sunday.
Re email contact…send me a PM…I was moving between Cypress Texas and Covington Louisiana during that time.

The Twelve Thirty Club sits immediately underneath the Assembly Hall and was one of my favorite places we visited on our last trip to Nashville for food and drinks. The music was good but not obnoxious loud and it was a less bar scene than places like Jason Aldean’s, Kid Rock, etc.

The stadium holds 35k. I have seen darn few seats for sale in either endzone. If your calculations are correct and there are approximately 1500 tickets left, does attendance break 30k?BlueAndGoldNation wrote: ↑Tue Dec 30, 2025 5:13 pmCounted around 500 open on MSU's side on the official NCAA website. Ow way. They only average 4000 fans for home games. Now way that will double with a 7 hour drive.BlueAndGoldNation wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 12:41 amMy realistic guess is 7,000-10,000 ISU fans since Normal Illinois is only 6.5 hours away, and 13,000-16,000 MSU Fans. So anywhere from 20,000 to 26,000. That would be a solid turnout for MSU against a non -DSU school!
My prediction; 2000 ISU fans. 20,000 bobcat fans.

Numbers are sure all over the place. Last time ISU played in Frisco some of their fans estimate they had around 5000. Doesn’t sound like they sold their ticket allotment of 4000+. But I would guess as close as they are that many will be picking up tickets when they get there. I sure hope they have more than a couple thousand.BobCatFan wrote: ↑Wed Dec 31, 2025 11:57 amOw way. I would be very pleasantly surprised if we broke 20,000 fans of our own.
I know quite a few NDSU fans personally that still plan on going. Don’t know if that is reflective of their entire fan base or not. I know several UM fans that are going as well.

I am not expecting a good ISU turnout given they couldn’t even sell their own ticket allotment. I saw a Facebook post where ISU was basically begging fans to purchase tickets. And how many fans actually make travel arrangements without having game tickets lined up? That would seem to be a pretty small number of people.kwcat wrote: ↑Wed Dec 31, 2025 12:45 pmNumbers are sure all over the place. Haha! I should clarify. If you had a chance to purchase a ticket at face value directly from your school assuring you that you will be sitting in the Cat section, would you have your ticket right now? I think the only reason ISU allotment tickets were available is because their demand was so low.CodyCat wrote: ↑Wed Dec 31, 2025 2:05 pmCurrently me!Cataholic wrote: ↑Wed Dec 31, 2025 2:02 pmI am not expecting a good ISU turnout given they couldn’t even sell their own ticket allotment.
