I’m more charitable towards Bobby than most, but you could tell after the game that he loved the hit. Given his reaction, it’s not a surprise that the whole defense was gleefully celebrating.

You couldn’t have scripted this better. His brother goes out with an injury. He gets knocked out of the game momentarily amid some kind of early man inventing fire celebration and then goes yard with a three-run jack in the bottom of the eighth. Some kind of Shakespearean, Greek tragedy, Hollywood, After School Special stuff.

Karma.

It really seemed like that hit ignited the Cats.

You should have seen Bobby and a couple other Gris coaches when the targeting call was announced. They were gesturing toward the replay booth how they felt. They weren’t flipping off the booth, but they were shaking their heads “no” and animatedly “waiving them off” like it was sh1tty call. And when I say it was obvious, they did it for a couple seconds and a couple yards onto the field so everyone could see. It was disgusting, and especially while a player was injured. Absolute no class. I wish someone had a video. You could see on the TV broadcast when it is announced that Bobby is starting to react and then the shot cuts away.

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

Is that little brother Welnel (Mr. 1-4 against the Cats) in the background?

#2 in the background seems concerned.

Taco roasting Rausch repeatedly after he made the sleep gesture on the targeting hit - including the first time he touched the ball when he came back in and made him whiff completely - was hilarious.

His language— “some dude got smoked”— indicated that he was pretty proud of it.

It's so ironic that Bobby would say “some dude got smoked” when in the end Bobby was the one who ended up fuming and smoking about the call. I can still picture him smoking like a punk. (The little stick you use to light fireworks and also a very accurate intentional double entendre.)

Jack Manning and some nobody named Nick Taber are beclowning themselves on both the targeting not being targeting, and apparently an illegal hip drop tackle ( although there is no such rule in NCAA football) by MSU that put their #3 out of the game.

Once again, egris proves itself to be the cesspool of internet fan forums. They deserve Hauck as a coach.

You mean like the one on Lamson that shows in these photos by Blake Hempstead on Skyline. Seems like they ignore their own. https://skylinesportsmt.com/a-game-in-p ... n-bozeman/
