Would love to know if Vigen would be interested in him. Can always use a guy in that spot with experience

Re: Damato decommits (2)
My guess is no. Who are you going to bump from rotation? Grebe?, Taylor?, Dailey?, Ahrens? It’s be a move that would look very disloyal to the guys you’re developing. It’d be a bad locker room dynamic move IMO.GrizgradCatFan wrote: ↑Wed Dec 24, 2025 7:40 amWould love to know if Vigen would be interested in him. Can always use a guy in that spot with experience
Honestly could see him over the hill….

He's clearly going FBS. This has happened nearly every year with the top talent from the FCS. Would not be surprised if he receives 5+ P4 offers within the week.tdub wrote: ↑Wed Dec 24, 2025 7:45 amMy guess is no. Who are you going to bump from rotation? Grebe?, Taylor?, Dailey?, Ahrens? Re: Damato decommits (2)
I don’t disagree. My point was would the MSU connection bring him here. If he stayed at this level, over the hill would be more likely than Bozeman. But yes, I’m sure he’s looking at FBS options.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 24, 2025 8:17 amHe's clearly going FBS. This has happened nearly every year with the top talent from the FCS. Damato can surely play his position but for my taste he has too much Dirty After Tackle Activity. Said another way he is too high on the DATA scale to be a Bobcat.

Re: Damato decommits (2)
For anyone saying we're not going to bring in any stud\star players, because it might mess up the locker room, I think that is 100% false. This is a different culture here than we've ever had. I'm sure Vigen has told all his players what Choate used to say, "My job is to recruit, find, develop players better than you, to replace you. So you have to give 100% all the time to keep, or earn time on the field." Look at the QB position? To my knowledge, the other QBs on the roster are still bought in and committed, although I'm sure that could change. If Vigen finds a stud RB with the right attitude\mindset for example, let's say as good or better than Adam Jones, he's gonna sign him. I don't think this would impact the RB room. If Adam wants a bunch of carries, he knows he needs to keep improving. If Coon, White, want to see the field more - get better.
Great time to be a BOBCAT!

Yeah, D’amato had two chances to be a Bobcat. He is more likely to end up Missoula than Bozeman.

Re: Damato decommits (2)
This is a pretty crappy comment. All of those guys have played the season through injuries. Dailey even had mid season surgery. And all of them have flashed how good they are. To top it all off, Damato will end up in FBS and not a real prospect. I don’t understand what such a snide comment does for anyone.BLACKnBLUEnGOLD wrote: ↑Wed Dec 24, 2025 11:57 amAny of them but Taylortdub wrote: ↑Wed Dec 24, 2025 7:45 amMy guess is no. I promise you there’s a lot of Bobcat players that you would think were dirty if they played for another team.Joe Bobcat wrote: ↑Wed Dec 24, 2025 2:48 pmBelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Wed Dec 24, 2025 12:14 pmJoe Bobcat wrote: ↑Wed Dec 24, 2025 11:12 amDamato can surely play his position but for my taste he has too much Dirty After Tackle Activity. I learned a long time ago, that there are things that are done and said on the field and sidelines (by players and coaches) that would/should never be done in polite society....AND THAT'S OK.

It just seemed kinda strange that he liked to slide or press his ball sack onto the cat platers.
