I have no idea where Gillman will be playing next year. I imagine at UM. He's a great player, but I have to wonder if he'll bring back his finger waggle 1st down celebration next season. He was getting mocked pretty hard for it in the 4th quarter. I was a little worried the Cats were going to get flagged for it when Gillman dropped that 3rd and 15 pass.

Any chance with Bobbys attitude and antics this year, that we see some transfers from UM to MSU?

I'd really be surprised if that happens.

The way Wortham was taking it in after the game. When all the fans were on the field. Either he is using that as motivation or he is thinking of coming here. Had about a minute talk with him. I told him great game and he said he appreciated it. Said go win the championship now. What a true good guy.

I just don't see any way a good player from UM would come to MSU, or vice versa, and honestly if they wanted to, I'm not sure that's a player we want.

I think we want good players to join the team.

We already have one impact player that was technically a griz for a while. I'm sure there are guys over that that would have reasons for wanting to leave a runner up for a winner.

I hate to say it, but I'm blanking on who this would be?

Crews. Special circumstances but it's not unheard of for guys to switch sides. They got one of our guys recently as well I believe.

I doubt anybody who has played significant snaps and performed well would transfer over, and if they wanted to, not sold they’re the kind of player we would want in our locker room.

My favorite was Lamson’s little finger waggle and the big SEG he had on his face after his last touchdown, broke 45’s ankles and mocked Gillman to put the game away!

I really thought we had missed out on our golden opportunity last season with the great Tommy Mellott when we couldn't finish the deal in the NC game. No way did I think we would be back this year. It's been a great run and the ten home games have made it so special. Now we just have to finish with one more great game in Nashville.

I was in the same boat. My recollection isn’t perfect but I thought we lost 38 players off that squad…..23 seniors and 15 to the portal….a number of the portal folks would have been starters for us this year. I just didn’t believe we had the talent remaining to end up in the chipper again.

I have to give a shout out to BobcatBuiltTexan….he was right that we had the horses to get where we are today.
