Question about a gris excuse
I have a gris friend who placed some of the blame on their loss to having to drive all the way from Missoula this morning on bad roads and they were actually late getting to the stadium. Can anyone confirm that?
With so much at stake I can’t imagine the team would not overnight in Bozeman

Re: Question about a gris excuse
If they did drive over today, that’s their decision.

they did stay in Belgrade. Your source was completely wrong. Gris always look for an excuse as owning up to their actual performance

The Griz usually stay in Livingston. I even heard Bobby remark about it during one of his interviews last week. He said that hotels are too expensive in Bozeman!

I don't know about dominated. I mean, sure, Cats had more first downs, more overall yards, more rushing yards, won TOP, scored more points, looked more handsome the whole game, and clearly stole the will to live from the opposing team. But dominated? Wait, I think you're 100% correct!
You can't spell dUMb without UM and now you can't spell grizzLLies without 2 Ls.

That targeting call was a slam dunk if there ever was one. Absolute definition of the rule. Bobby dropped too many F-bombs for the cameras to have any credibility.

Bobby must have found a cheap hotel or had enough credits to get a discount..

What an embarrassing person BH is. To be the face of that team and college he is literally a disgrace. Just shows there class and their true colors. Lol I hope he stays for ever there reputation as a school and team will be tainted for a long time.

Re: Question about a gris excuse
My gris friend is absolutely a typical gris fan. He really got his shorts in a was over the "impolte treatment" that we provided to him.
As for Bobby, I went back and watched the replay of the hit on Taco and that was a no brainer targeting call. For BH to go on about that being a terrible call and "turning point" is absurd. For one thing, I don't think we even scored following the call. I'm just thankful that Taco is okay. When I saw the hit I was terribly concerned. THe reaction from some of the gris players was really bad as well.

100% agree. The real turning point was the 3rd quarter touchdown drive where the cats methodically marched down the field to retake the lead and BH's defense couldn't get a stop.aucat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 9:09 amMy gris friend is absolutely a typical gris fan. Re: Question about a gris excuse
Bobby has won exactly ONE Big Sky title since RTD and has lost his last three to “State,” with two of the losses being blowouts. The entire program has just that one title in the last 16 seasons.aucat wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 9:09 amMy gris friend is absolutely a typical gris fan. I’m not sure there is a more overhyped coach in conference history considering how bad the Big Sky was during most of his first run, and their program now just seems stale and gimmick schedules it’s way to good regular season records. 8 home games in a regular season almost worked, too, had MSU not beaten this overrated team in Missoula to close out the season.
Complaining about a clear targeting call is so on-brand for this guy. It’s never Bobby’s fault, even with elite facilities in FCS and a booster base that spends money to get players like Wortham, who probably should have been used more since he is the best player on the field IMO.
