Heading home riding shotgun.

If it weren’t for Bobby “State” Hauck’s complete lack of class as both a coach and a person, I’d have a little bit of empathy for the Gris and their fans.

The fans condone his act though, so it makes it even more sweet for MSU to win the biggest Cat-Gris game in history.

I literally turned to my brother after that play and said "that was history, right there".

Saw this online...A crowd of 25,437 jammed into Bobcats Stadium to make the 125th meeting between the programs — the first in the playoffs — arguably the biggest sporting event in the history of the state.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

This game reminds me of the 1984 semi final win against Rhode Island. We were down they were driving and Roberts gets that pick 6. The flood gates opened after that. Same with Lamson to Taco's TD. That was historic and the game was not in doubt. Epic win over the gris

I think it was louder than any Cat game I have been to, including the semifinal win over South Dakota State.

I agree. The fans that I interacted with were very cordial throughout the highs and lows of the game.

It was a very similar vibe to 1984. If we have to punt there they get the ball in great field position and our defense was struggling to stop them. When he caught the pass I was just hoping he had the yards for a first down...but he just kept running. Taco was already a legend but now he's a mega legend!!! Justin Lamson is a now a legend too. But they've got to finish the deal. Kind of like the 1980 USA Olympic hockey team. Beat Russia-that's great, but don't lose to fricken Finland in the gold medal game (or whoever that was).

Except that in this case, the Cats are the USSR cause the pandas were 6 point dogs.

What I find hilarious is how hard the gris lobbied to be the three seed instead of the fourth seed. Had they gotten the fourth seed, they might have been meeting the Cats in Nashville.
