I’ve politely asked. I’ve aggressively asked. I’ve asked people to see their tickets. Why should people expect to sit or stand where they don’t have tickets? And I’m not talking about the beginning of a game. I’m talking throughout as people invite friends to come stand by them throughout the gamecatatac wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 9:46 pmOr just politely tell them to please move, as they're in your seats?RUACAT wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 9:39 pmIf only it were that easy. Re: When Bobcat Fans stuff the bleachers without tickets
The students creeping into the sections is a legitimate problem. It's a bit of a running joke with the people that sit around me in the endzone about how much I enjoy kicking students out, but it has to happen early on in the season and be firm with it. Set the precedent that you're not going to allow it, and the problem stops pretty quickly

It is not SRO. This paragraph comes from the stadium fan guide.nanacat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 10:29 pmSo is there SRO above the band in the end zone or not? Was told that once but may have been false info.PlumbBobcat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 8:26 pmMy seats are on the top row of the end zone. It’s a big problem with students and SRO.
Standing Room Only (SRO) tickets will be released for sale after all other seats in the stadium have been sold. The SRO area is the grassy area next to section 107 and the cement area between the North Endzone Cabanas and section 108.. Fans may not bring chairs to use in SRO. Blankets are permissible.

Correct. Staff will go ask you to leave if you stand up there and dont have tickets in the top row. I was injured about 11 years ago and went up there to stand. My seats are only 10 rows or so down. They came and told me I had to go back to my seats.PlumbBobcat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 11:08 pmIt is not SRO. We deal with this often in section 113, and I have mixed feelings about it. Things are pretty friendly over there, and they’re small bleachers, so if someone is encroaching on my seats, I’ll often just squeeze in around my seats and not make a big deal. As far as I can tell, everyone has a ticket for the section, but people often get mixed up about which row they’re in. That’s normally fine by me, because there’s no real difference between one bleacher spot and the next. The problem is when people come in for big games, like Cat-Griz, who don’t normally sit in the section and throw a fit because they aren’t in the exact seat and make a big deal about it. Obviously they’re allowed to find their seats and ask folks to move, but too often they’re jerks about it and ruin the friendly vibe. Everyone who’s there week in a week out doesn’t have problems with each other, because we all get it.

I've been under this impression as well. However, I recently called the ticket office just to confirm this was the case, and they told me that is an aisle that needs to be clear, and it is not considered an SRO area.nanacat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 16, 2025 10:36 pmGood to know, thanks! Yep, that is the way it is in section 110 where we sit. Sometimes it’s not a big deal and everybody’s pretty friendly other times people get pretty wound up and the whole sections. Gotta get re-organized! Lol.GoodTimesAllTheTime wrote: ↑Wed Dec 17, 2025 9:31 amWe deal with this often in section 113, and I have mixed feelings about it. We had some folks show up in the 2nd quarter of Cat-Griz demanding that they get in their exact seats, waving their tickets in everyone’s face. I said they should hang tight until a timeout and we could get it figured out and then less politely told them that if they cared so much about seeing the game from those seats, they shouldn’t have missed a whole quarter. They of course left before the 4th quarter started.kwcat wrote: ↑Wed Dec 17, 2025 9:57 amYep, that is the way it is in section 110 where we set. Well if I go to my seats and there is someone sitting in them that won’t move, there is going to be a problem.GoodTimesAllTheTime wrote: ↑Wed Dec 17, 2025 10:07 amWe had some folks show up in the 2nd quarter of Cat-Griz demanding that they get in their exact seats, waving their tickets in everyone’s face. I think if you show up a quarter late, it’s fair in my opinion that everyone doesn’t immediately play musical chairs to accommodate you. You clearly don’t care about the game, so wait for a break in the action. Also, “going to be a problem?” Chill out, everyone is a Bobcat fan and it will get sorted out.Mtcatfan wrote: ↑Wed Dec 17, 2025 10:30 amWell if I go to my seats and there is someone sitting in them that won’t move, there is going to be a problem.GoodTimesAllTheTime wrote: ↑Wed Dec 17, 2025 10:07 amWe had some folks show up in the 2nd quarter of Cat-Griz demanding that they get in their exact seats, waving their tickets in everyone’s face. Seats are reserved.....you occupy your assigned seat. If you occupy someone else's assigned seat and they show up, you apologize and move immediately. That's how life works.GoodTimesAllTheTime wrote: ↑Wed Dec 17, 2025 10:41 amI think if you show up a quarter late, it’s fair in my opinion that everyone doesn’t immediately play musical chairs to accommodate you. 100% this. It may not be officially SRO but as I stated, if you're leaning against the back wall, it doesn't matter whether the people in the top row of seats are sitting or standing, there is still a decent sized aisle and plenty of room for people to walk through.wbtfg wrote: ↑Wed Dec 17, 2025 9:33 amI've been under this impression as well.
