Ok that answers it. They won't make it down the priority point list very far before they're completely gone. SeatGeek is going to be lit.

Is it? I would think the vast majority of season ticket holders are getting these tickets for family and friends. I certainly hope that's the case.

Yeah that's the point. Very low supply and some very, very high prices. Grab your popcorn.

Not even having a chance to purchase tickets at face vaule unless you're a season ticket holder feels pretty damn bad right now. Looking for 5-6 tickets for a group of die hards..

Oh gotchya, I was thinking you meant a lot of the season ticket holders are just buying extras to cash int and sell 3rd party, which I think will be just a tiny fraction here.

I didn't get whatever email that went out, which is strange... and I checked on the website and there is no mention of this. Can someone please post the entire communication? I'm curious about the status of student tickets, and how many SRO they went with.

I hope I’m wrong, but I think 8 extra per season ticket holder was too many. I think we will see more Griz fans as a result. It’s too tempting not to sell at least a couple of those if you’ve so many.

Not really about money. I snapped up what I could. Will use it with staff who are Bobcat fans and tell them if I can’t hear them they need to look for a different job. This is about recruiting more fans!

There's going to be A LOT of season ticket holders not getting extras either. I'd be surprised if they make it past 1000 on the points list.

Never mind, I just found it on Facebook. No mention of how many SRO or student tickets or anything like that, but there was a nice little tidbit saying we'll know by Noon tomorrow at the latest.

The MSU ticket office has botched this whole thing.
Not limiting the number of tickets season ticket holders can buy is crazy. Many fans that have supported this team for years and years won’t be able to see this game. What a shame.

But they did limit it.

They limited it to 8.

I still don't think we're going to see a bunch of Bobcat season ticket holders selling out and selling these to Griz fans but I guess we'll see. I do agree however, with 8 being too many. If I strike out on getting ANY extra tickets, after applying for them immediately when the first communication went out, after how much I've invested MSU as a season ticket holder over the past 30 years... then yes I'll be kinda bummed. That would make me think they should do it differently, maybe allow every season ticket holder to at least get one extra ticket if they want, and then distribute all the rest of them via priority points.

That’s honestly great news. Now we just need to make sure our season ticket holders passed them on to fellow bobcat fans without price gouging them.

Stadium is too small for this one. That's a good problem, but it is a problem.

Current cheapest seats on the Geek are in endzone section 118 for $879.00. Row 31. But there's 3 of them, so you could bring a couple of buddies. A real bargain!
