Lots of players not pleased after the game and I couldn’t pin down what exactly it was. Besides not putting the game away earlier, weird vibe.
Entire game was a weird vibe.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

I kind of get it, because I sat on my sofa and yelled at this coaching staff. Probably said a lot worse than anything he said too. I’m sorry, but that game was all on the coaches and I can understand frustration from the players. That said, he was way out of line. I wouldn’t mind it if he is in charge of getting the team motivated next week though…haha!!

Julius was choosing to walk back to the locker room after he disagreed with how we was "treated" by Vigen and a few of his teammates trying to remove him from a situation. Vigen ran after him and was not letting him do it and they proceeded to have a heated conversation for roughly 5 minutes. It's a selfish move from one of our leaders. Try to justify it all you want. We need Davis on this team...but not if he chooses to leave them after having his emotions boil over after a game.

At least he was fired up unlike the rest of team. I would be pissed if I were him too. Our offense looked like ******. I’d rather have fire than complacency.

I agree the entire game had a weird vibe to it, even watching on TV. Just odd.. our D played well at times. Other times not so much..Offense was ok.. in hurry up.
They all played like they thought it would be a cake walk.
I understand getting pissed off.. wanting space or whatever
You don’t lay hands on a coach or yell at them.

And the offensive line got shoved back at the end when we should have been able to put the game away.

Davis will be given a chance to cooldown and the choices he makes after that will say more about his character than what we saw. He needs to be proactive with those he hurt that ultimately had his back. I do think, despite everything that transpired, Vigen has a soft spot for Davis, but Davis needs to own up for his actions
This seems reasonable since none of us know exactly what was going on. He and coach will obviously have a nice one on one this evening I’m guessing. If he mans up and apologizes and Vigen is satisfied, and maybe an apology to the team, I’m perfectly fine with any punishment doled out.

I think it's safe to say that some of the commenters here are making way more out of this than the team and coaches will. Vigen and Julius will handle it like men. Wouldn't be surprised if Julius sits for the first couple drives next weekend but get out of here with the takes about him being kicked off the team.

A very bad look for the university and the team. It sure tells SafA that they can get under our skin. Now sure what you do about Davis.

Agreed. Vim and others making too big of a deal. I say that all why agreeing it was embarrassing and out of line.

So I was on the 50 yrs line right above where it happened. As my kids saw, but I did not, he was in an altercation and another player hit him in the face. He then faced off for at least a minute or two and he damn near got in Vigens face, didn’t swipe, but in the face and almost chest bumps. It was a really poor look and then Vigen walked around scolding the team on the prayor circle after the game. I don’t know know what it was all about, but it was not a good look from the stands IMO

If a coach pushes me away, I have full rights to push him back and then leave my team hanging because I'm upset. Absolutely.

It is what has separated us from the griz in the Vigen era. Vigen creates a player led team and hopefully now more than ever that shines through in this moment. I am not worried about what will happen behind the scenes. We have a culture of accountability and I guarantee that Vigen will not punch down on Davis when asked about it in pressers.

There was never a chance. He’s a good FCS back, not a pro back.

I’m kind of in the middle.

This obviously isn’t nothing, but I don’t think it’s a huge deal either. What’s more important is how they settle it after.
