This is complete nonsense.kennethnoisewater wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 11:10 amI really think the gris were OK with losing yesterday. I'm not saying it's a good strategy, but Hauck said after the game they played pretty simple on defense. I think they believed they'd get the 3 seed if they lost and wouldn't have to play NDSU until Nashville. Obviously they tried to win, but I have a hunch they didn't show everything they had yesterday. I think it's dumb and it'll backfire on them, but I don't think MSU got their best shot yesterday. Unfortunately for them, MSU didn't give their best shot yesterday either and still won in the "Mecca".

Re: FCS Selection Show 10:00
Not sure I have seen anyone want another BSC team. With 2 Ivy teams that were never eligible in the past it is surprising any conference will get that many. Might be good enough but really other than SDSU and NDSU who has made consistent runs in playoffs. Should a 6th place team in 10 team conference or 5 loss team really get in. Their 3 bottom teams were not good.Montanabob wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 12:27 pmWho could they have added from the BSC ? No One.sdsyvie wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 12:21 pmBig sky recently had 6 teams in the fieldBobcat Sig wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 11:52 amIndeed. It’s the Big Sky, MVFC, and everyone else. But man… 6 teams in? That’s favorable.MSU01 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 11:51 amThe committee clearly thinks the Big Sky and MVFC are vastly better than any other FCS conference. And they probably aren't wrong.onceacat wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 11:48 amMassey has Davis at #7, so its not totally bonkers.BOBCATBORN wrote: ↑Sun Nov 23, 2025 11:21 amAnd then UC Davis gets a pretty easy draw as well for who they’ll have to play.
Missouri was far and away the best conference with a really strong top 6
It seemed clear they would get 6, and things are always regionalized for the non #1 team. So to have a lot of them on our side of the bracket made sense.
In years past us ajd the grizzlies would host big sky teams for our "2nd round" match ups.
Everything lined up from my perspective
nobody else made the grade.
