Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

Pretty sure that Snoop had a great quote that's appropriate for those knuckleheads in the western side of The Divide!

As frustrated as I was with our game, that was probably more impactful. Glad they actually made a statement on it instead of ignoring it.

should be another apology coming from the ISU NAU game for an extra stoppage of play that amounted to an extra time out.4KornerKat wrote: ↑Mon Nov 17, 2025 3:00 pmAs frustrated as I was with our game, that was probably more impactful. Re: Random stuff 2025
I watched the TV broadcast yesterday, and I've seen the interviews today... why do they keep saying "Beer Snake"? I know what they (we) were doing as I helped by throwing a few cups their way... but I have no idea where the cups came from?
Great time to be a BOBCAT!

Wrigley Field is famous for their "cup snakes" or "beer snakes" where fans combine their beer cups to form snakes out in the outfield bleachers

I agree but so many Idaho fans are saying this cost Idaho the game. It was on 2nd down with 20 second left. There would have been at least a couple more plays if they called it correctly. The Vandals had them in 4th down twice in that final drive with one being 4th and 14 at mid field and couldn't get off the field. Then the next play they let them run straight in for the TD untouched.4KornerKat wrote: ↑Mon Nov 17, 2025 3:00 pmAs frustrated as I was with our game, that was probably more impactful. Re: Random stuff 2025
The cups were handed out at the gates by the Montana State Fund. If anyone would like to have one of these now rare and historical items, I’ll have mine up for sale on eBay by the end of the day. Bidding starts at $500.

Re: Random stuff 2025
There were a few clock issues to go along with it, at least from what I saw. At 1:11 Sac runs on 4th and 2, and gets the first down. Clock stops to set the chains, but they never wind it. Snap takes place with 29 on the play clock. On the next 4th down, which is a 4th and 14, they complete a pass and are tackled inbounds. Clock stops appropriately and is wound at 36 seconds on play clock. Comparing the two, I think you could say Sac gained 6 seconds of clock based on that timing error.Prodigal Cat wrote: ↑Mon Nov 17, 2025 4:12 pmI agree but so many Idaho fans are saying this cost Idaho the game. Then the play at 17 seconds. The only way this is a completion is if they say his foot didn't hit the ground, and his back hits inbounds, which would make him down inbounds at that time with the clock rolling. If they call it correctly, it's incomplete with about 6 seconds left from the 20. Maybe two plays if the first throw is quick, but with that play taking 5 seconds i'm not sure they get more than one more play.

I am not sure what the solution is, but the Big Sky has to improve officiating. To think the Big Sky was on national TV on Saturday and that crew was embarrassing. They missed some obvious calls and then made questionable calls. They looked inept and confused. They had reviews a couple times for plays that I am not sure you could even overturn. One was the pass to Adam Jones in the backfield that was ruled incomplete. When the ball fell to the ground, nobody acted like it was fumble and nobody even tried to recover it. Then the officials stop play to review if it was a backwards pass for fumble…. But there was no fumble recovery! It was like watching the Three Stooges in action. Embarrassing.

Re: Random stuff 2025
I didn't mind the review on the incomplete pass to Jones since from what I saw it was very close to a backwards pass. Even though there wasn't a fumble recovery the spot of the ball was still in question, as a backwards pass would have seen the ball spotted where it ended up which was several yards behind the line of scrimmage. The second review was just dumb as even if it was a fumble, the Bobcats recovered it anyway. I've never seen Vigen get as angry with the refs as often as he did on Saturday, thankfully that should be the last we see of that crew this year since I don't recall ever having the same crew twice in a row in the past. And one assumes the Big Sky will assign the best crew to Cat/Griz which certainly can't be them...I hope.Cataholic wrote: ↑Mon Nov 17, 2025 5:03 pmI am not sure what the solution is, but the Big Sky has to improve officiating. ...and Gregg Wilson's crew (the second worst crew in the BSC) has members suspended due to the ridiculous shenanigans in the Idaho/Sacramento State game, so I truly hope that crew can't work. Hopefully Gregg got suspended as well. He's terrible, thought not as bad as Crowley the Clown.MSU01 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 17, 2025 5:09 pmI didn't mind the review on the incomplete pass to Jones since from what I saw it was very close to a backwards pass. Re: Random stuff 2025
Given the Saturday game was on national TV, you would think that the best crew would be doing that game. It only makes you lose more faith that the Big Sky admin will ever get it right.MSU01 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 17, 2025 5:09 pmI didn't mind the review on the incomplete pass to Jones since from what I saw it was very close to a backwards pass.
