Why I mentioned it bodes well for us, but at the same time taking the rivalry history into account with the Home team advantage (wouldn't be the first time we had a better team and lost in Wa-Griz) that can't be ignored either. All bets are off and we need to play our A game.

Agree wholeheartedly with this.Utcatsfan wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 5:51 pmWhy I mentioned it bodes well for us, but at the same time taking the rivalry history into account with the Home team advantage (wouldn't be the first time we had a better team and lost in Wa-Griz) that can't be ignored either. At this point in the season I’m 100% confident the Cats are the better, more talented team. That does not mean they walk into Missoula and automatically win. Still need to bring their A game and not get sucked into the atmosphere.
If they do that, Im very confident it goes the way we think it can.

Yeah, 4 opponents. I added all for for the gris I think but forgot poly for Cats. That's 157-45MSU01 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 5:45 pmThere should be four common opponents...EWU, ISU, Weber, Poly

It’s actually eerie how much the Cats have flown under the radar this season. Just quietly getting work done since the SDSU loss. Our team is playing blue collar football with a chip on their shoulder.

Yep. The loss to SDSU put doubt in a lot people. Ma y don't understand how young the team is and the new coordinators. They keep getting better and better.

Eastern completely sh1t the bed today. The had 6 trips to the red zone and got 2 td and a fg. Best went for a td on 4 the and 11. They got several procedure penalties in the red zone. Best is a lousy coach.

Similar to the UND game in the sense that the road team did more to lose the game than the home team did to win it.

He took a beating today and just kept getting up. Reminded me of David Carr in his rookie year with the Texans. The Griz pressured him a lot and he played extremely well for a freshman. Lots of open receivers in that game too. Steel and Dowler will have a field day with crossing routes if UM doesn't figure something out.

Pinnick has thrown a couple more int’s at Idaho after giving the ball up a bunch last week. Cats D could feast if he continues to be careless with the football.

My thoughts were that coaching decisions were the problem. Kinda like we can't kick field goals cause these guys will kill us when they score touchdowns. Even though the TDS didn't come. No confidence in the defense.Catsrgrood wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 8:38 pmSimilar to the UND game in the sense that the road team did more to lose the game than the home team did to win it.

HOWEVER, Choate got into BOOBIES head. On the onside kick, BOOBIE uses a TIMEOUT (ala Choate) and the kicker follows through and kicks it towards the sideline. So in BOOBIE logic, they will run the same play.allcat wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 9:59 pmMy thoughts were that coaching decisions were the problem. Ok, Timeout over - new kick. Slow roller down the middle - EWU recovers.

The Idaho game had more forced throws from Pinnick than last week. He still has redshirt freshman moments and forgets he’s not in high school anymore. He still was 21/27 for 248 and 3 TDs Those INTs kept Idaho in the game. UCD defense played well overall but got gassed some at the end chasing Wood all over. Red zone penalties hurt again this week. Aggies will have to play mistake free to have a chance in Bozeman.Prodigal Cat wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 8:44 pmPinnick has thrown a couple more int’s at Idaho after giving the ball up a bunch last week. This was my first thought! lol.
They’re already saying if that 3rd string QB played against the Cats it would have been a much closer game. Which I guess isn’t saying much as we beat them by what; 9 touchdowns?
No of course it couldn’t just be that the griz defense isn’t that good right? Or that the Cats defense might actually be really good? And dare I say the Cats offense just may be better than the vaunted griz offense?

It’s just insane how opponents find ways to lose when playing in Washington griz.
Yesterday’s game summed it up…. But it’s been one team after another for the last 25 years, just finding new ways to lose- weird plays, missed game winning field goals, idiotic coaching decisions, stupid special teams plays, dumb penalties, random turnovers…. It’s just crazy.
The griz have got to be the most over-rated 10-0 team in history.

With how close NDSU was to losing yesterday, I was literally laughing thinking about the griz being ranked number one in the country.mslacatfan wrote: ↑Sun Nov 09, 2025 8:14 amIt’s just insane how opponents find ways to lose when playing in Washington griz.

Main takeaways from the results in the Big Sky yesterday are that UC Davis solidified its spot in the playoffs and NAU took care of business as well. I think ultimately the Big Sky will get four teams in with NAU beating Poly and Weber to go 8-4 and sneak in as an at-large like last year. Sac State is the only other team with a chance but would need to win at Davis on the 22nd to get in, which is possible but not likely.

Unfortunately had a 5-1 in the bag only to fumble it at the end to go 6-0 straight up. 4-2 versus the spread.
28-9 overall and 22-14-1 the spread.

Aggies had multiple chances to blow that game wide open last night and kept screwing up. They should have ran away with the win. I could see them losing the next 2 which would put them at 7-4 and force the committee to make a decision. The Big Sky could still get 5 in if Sac wins the next 2.
