Vigen and MSU are very tight-lipped about injuries, no way we hear anything from an official source until at least Monday.

And even then, we will get a returning some point or not answer, zero specifics.

"Not season ending" and "back at some point" are my favorites. I also fondly remember the run where every week someone had an "upper body" or "lower body" injury.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Is WR Trimble injured this year? I looked through the thread and didn’t see any mention of him being out. I have not noticed him on the field at all

Didn't see him today but he has played this season.

Just wondering if there’s word on them. Thought maybe a PT poster might have seen something. I didn’t see any of the trainers doing the knee test on either of them. But they may have since the camera wasn’t on them the whole time.

Dane Steel has passed him on the depth chart.

Schlepp looked like a cramp based on how they were trying to stretch it but I could be wrong. Hunter looked like sprain or worse.

I used to joke that pretty soon it would be “whole body” injury. 😆

That’s what I saw on Schlepp too but the way he was helped was worrisome. I remember Tommy looking like he had a serious injury when it was cramps at Utah Tech.

Too many WRs above him on the depth chart. He is solid, though.

Why can’t he play over King? What in the world has King done to earn playing time, other than being tall?

Could come down to blocking or as simple as being a decoy. King has flashed in practice but has not translated into the field yet part of that might be Lamsons vision which maybe seems to be getting better?

Trimble hasn't played much since his key fumble in the SDSU game that ended an MSU drive in SDSU territory. You'd have to ask the coaches why he doesn't play over King, but they see a lot more of these guys in practice than we do.

Fair point, perhaps that size is valuable on the outside as a blocker. And to my eye, Lamson sees King. King just drops the ball.

Of course you’re right, and even if I saw him plenty in practice, I don’t know what I’m looking at the same way the coaches do. Perhaps they value ball security higher than actually catching the ball. How many drops equals a fumble? Not sure. They have their own formula no doubt. I just remember Trimble filling in well for Taco awhile back, and being excited about him moving forward. Now, there’s a guy ahead of him that seems to be struggling to hang on to passes, and it feels like it should be an opportunity for Trimble.

Early on Lamson was not seeing King at all wide open. King‘s hands have not been consistently good. Hopefully he figures that out soon.
