My favorite tradition has become the pre-game handoff of the Montana flag from a former player to a current one to carry for the runout. As a pure spectacle it's hard to beat the rodeo team!

I'm guessing that's what most will pick. It's pretty cool that MSU has so many. Most schools only do homecoming. There's also Cat-Griz, but that's a shared tradition. So sad that's it's slowly losing its traditional name: Cat-Griz.

The Rodeo Runout (it's the full team, not just women anymore) is my favorite because it's unique.

I look forward to Gold Rush more than anything because it's the start of the season and I'll never forget the 2021 Gold Rush after the previous year was taken away from us, but at this point most teams do a color game so the Runout is the best tradition.

There’s also a ton of people that call it The Brawl of the Wild. Media types like it because they don’t have to worry about a certain fanbase crying when it’s called Cat-Griz.

The "Griz-Cat" game is when dUMb plays Weber State (Wildcats).

Also, I don't think it has been mentioned that Justin Lamson played against Oregon when QB for Stanford in 2023. Maybe that had a little to do why he's starting.

Pretty sure it’s been mentioned. It was his first start and he led them to two straight FG drives of around 50 yards to go up 6-0. He was under constant pressure and was sacked 5 times. He had 22 rushes but not many were designed. I don’t think it has anything to do with his number being called.
