I guess I didn't realize they were putting a small board up inside. Probably for track times and a clock for football?
What a great place to host the class C 6 and 8 man state championships when it's 10 below. it would be really easy to pull in enough portable bleachers for a crowd like that.
Class C folk just walk/stand on the sidelines ... we don't need no stinking bleachers!
Oh I know. but a few portable bleachers would be icing on the cake.

Nothing to see here folks, it's all part of the "break-in" period.

Probably won't hurt the teams' practices much since it'll be ready in October. The concern I'd have is having it happen again. Kind of strange that it happened though since there haven't been many big temp changes yet.

Talk about trying to put lipstick on a pig. Amazing they waited until football season starts to undergo the repairs and upgrades. That is some fine management over there!

So does this mean we should say ours was officially open sooner than theirs? I mean permanent has to count for something.

I don’t think we need to say anything. This thing is doing all the talking for us.

Does really happen to these inflatables often? I’m looking for other instances and there are some cases of them needing repairs but it’s from some kind of weather event usually. I don’t see anything about them just tearing apart and needing to be returned for repairs. I would think that they would get an entirely new fabric dome. I would be nervous about it being faulty in other areas. Can you imagine going through this only to get it reinstalled and have it fail again? That would be in the back of my mind for a couple years. Maybe it happens more often than has been documented by the media but it seems like a rare occurrence.

The place looks amazing, but we don't need no indoor facility for the Class C Championships. What's the point of home field advantage if we can't make Drummond/Phillipsburg drive to Fairview for a game on the frozen tundra.
I was a freshman on the team when Scobey beat Terry in 1996 in a -20 deep freeze. Our quarterback bounced his head off the ground and still doesn't remember playing the game.

There's the truth, and then there's what's reported in the papers.

The gris bubble is a strong metaphor for the Hauck 2.0 era. Pump something up, only to be deflated later.

I can see this kind of “maintenance” being a regular thing for um. I wonder if they did their homework on this. Are there any bubbles in similar climates? I also wonder if this happened because someone wasn’t paying attention to the pressure and as the temperatures were rising, they had it set wrong. Lots of questions.

Hopefully MSU has plenty of recruiting visits scheduled for September while Bobby's Bubble is "out for repair". Take advantage of the one specific facility you have that is a clear upgrade over the other guys.

I don't remember this ever happening to our "temporary" bubbles or the old tennis bubble.

Honestly, that's what happens when the head coach orders an indoor practice facility from the same place he orders his girlfriends.

And to think back, remember how relentless some of them were when we had a building collapse on campus... how much they poked fun at being an engineering school and having that happen?
