However, what usually happens when it's 'just a rumor' is someone that knows it isn't true finds out people are talking about it and refutes it (Jane says Billy made out with Cindy, but Billy says, 'nuh-uh'). The other thing that happens is what you said (Billy admits it). Then a third thing is those in the know have been told to keep it under wraps (Cindy told Jane to keep her big mouth shut or she'd get ...) and so they don't say anything. A fourth thing is ... and so on.

I saw four people (McF, Ty, Colter and wbtfg said something about an egrizzer saying something) that said something about it happening or hinting about something happening in the first 3-4 pages of this thread. So, two people other than McF and Gregorak. Four people with the same rumor is pretty good and probably why this thing took off so fast. But it isn't impossible for all four of them to have gotten the same BS.

It could also be that this was in the works but there are concerns about things that affect the donor's wallets like tariffs. Or they were waiting for the passage of a bill that frees up their money.

I think we have an AD and multiple coaches that could leave for bigger higher paying jobs, but haven't. I think they all know something we don't. A big gift could led to larger paychecks without relocating their families.
