I have never in my life seen a team lose 3 yards on an incomplete pass. That is a new one and this crew should be disallowed from working any more games this year. Wow.

Correct. The craziest thing about that whole sequence of events though, is that they went and took a further look at it on review and the white cap said "we are going to be sure we get this right, please be patient" and then they come back with that ruling.

It starts with USD. They are certainly stout on D but UCD had success today on offense. I like this matchup next weekend, especially if Scottre can get back on the field.

Can’t argue against data and stats, however, Hastings threw 4 of those basically to a defender. Also, the team they played last week are a pass happy team.

Tough game to glean anything from. So many turnovers. I thought USD was more physical early on, but UCD did stuff to offset that. That UCD was as close as they were despite the turnovers and being on the road seems promising for MSU but I'm not sure how much weight to give this game.

So for those that watched the game, not that it matters now but do you think Larison playing would have affected the outcome?

Not much, they actually still moved the ball quite well after Larison went out. But you aren't going to be able to turn the ball over six times and still win on the road against a good team. It's pretty amazing they were able to keep it as close as they were, of course USD's two turnovers inside the Davis 5-yard line also helped with that.

I've watched SDSU & NDSU all season, but SDU only once before today. SDU couldn't stop Davis. 5 turnovers & Davis was still in the game in the 4th quarter? It's hard to know how good these MVC teams are - they're usually lights out - but it's looking more like MSU has cracked the code. Please dear baby Jesus, gift the Cats 5 USD turnovers next week.....
