Just came from W&M message board. Announcers are terrible. Field conditions are terrible. Their team is terrible. Someone is going to get hurt on this field....and on and on and on....

The butthurt is strong over there. Sound a bit like bison fans (I refuse to use the z).

According to Sagarin, Charlotte would be a middling BSC team.

According to the eye test, so would William & Mary.

It really isn’t fair that 2 people have to play an entire state.

Just proves we need a division in between the Alabama’s, USC’s and Georgias and the southern Utah’s, Portland states and furmans of the world.

As long as we get a real playoff & don't have to play in the Podunk Bowl at the end of the season.

I saw one of their fans said this game would be a toss up if played in Williamsburg. It's like dude, it would've been the same thing regardless of where it was being played. CAA is not an elite conference anymore. 5 teams made the playoffs from CAA, and only one didn't get blown out

@Prodigal Cat
Yes. I posted more details in a couple other threads. Here’s a summary. Ratings are from Sagarin. Let’s say that their victim Charlotte (#163 in all D-1) was not quite as good as Oregon State (#16). 😂

16 Oregon State A = 84.26 (Montana St. FBS game, MSU loss)

56 South Dakota State AA = 72.44 (quarterfinalist)
63 North Dakota State AA = 71.50 (quarterfinalist)
75 Sacramento State AA = 68.16 (quarterfinalist)
85 Montana State AA = 65.99 (quarterfinalist)

88 Incarnate Word AA = 65.30 (quarterfinals)

97 Coastal Carolina A = 63.95 (challenging or suspect?)
98 Weber State AA = 63.80 (challenging or suspect?)
99 Liberty A = 63.50 (challenging or suspect?)

117 Samford AA = 59.74 (quarterfinalist)
120 William & Mary AA = 59.09 (quarterfinalist)
135 Holy Cross AA = 56.20 (quarterfinalist)

157 Elon AA = 51.64 (William & Mary loss)
163 Charlotte A = 49.22 (William & Mary FBS game)
