Re: 2023 Schedule
The good news is that The Cats would definitely be the #1 seed next year if they knock out this schedule (similar to this year).

This has to be the hardest FCS schedule in the country. If not I'd love to see the one that beats it.mslacatfan wrote: ↑Tue Dec 06, 2022 3:00 pmThe good news is that The Cats would definitely be the #1 seed next year if they knock out this schedule (similar to this year).
We shouldn't have a problem extending our home win streak another full season but that road schedule is rough. All 5 road games are against 2022 playoff teams including two that reached at least the quarterfinals.
Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Ya, those home games are terrible. Gonna average a score of about 45-7.coloradocat wrote: ↑Tue Dec 06, 2022 3:25 pmThis has to be the hardest FCS schedule in the country. Re: 2023 Schedule
I usually try to come up for 4-5 regular season games but that home schedule isn't motivating me to make a huge effort. I'll still get at least 3 but probably not over 4.91catAlum wrote: ↑Tue Dec 06, 2022 3:56 pmYa, those home games are terrible. Re: 2023 Schedule
I think Sac graduates something like 16 Seniors, including both QB's. they will still have Sacttebo if an FBS team doesn't poach him.Montanabob wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 9:50 amNext year's schedule results:

Re: 2023 Schedule
I think NAU will struggle to score 21 against us since their QB is likely gone.
But otherwise, I like the optimism!

added in the Cal Poly game you overlooked. Bobcats won't overlook them.Montanabob wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 9:50 amNext year's schedule results:

Re: 2023 Schedule
I think it's because they scheduled the game with SDSU. SDSU will then reciprocate and come to MSU in 2025. Apparently, it's tough to find non-conference opponents these days.

That makes sense given that eGriz also thinks that Vigen, Costello, and Cruzado are in danger of being fired for only suspending Coach Garza for one game.

Re: 2023 Schedule
So we will play 2 of the 8 teams still in the playoffs
Mathematically possible - one of those games could be a semi-final rematch, and one of those could be a National Championship rematch.
Tough road schedule but the good news is - win and we get home playoff games all the way to Frisco!

In other words the Gris will be preseason champions again and remain delusional enough that they think they'll end up as champions.
Oh those silly Gris

WOW, I must be living under a rock, hadn't heard that. So that would be what... at least five new HCs coming into the Sky this year?RockyBearCat wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 12:02 pmBeing reported that Jay Hill took DC job at BYU.catatac wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 11:54 amWat?Montanabob wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 9:50 amNext year's schedule results:
