William Mary Roll Call
Seeing as though none of us can sign onto your board, thought I’d throw this out over here.
All joking and banter aside, I hope any of you making the trip over here have a great time! I think your players, coaches and fans will love it. You’ll be treated wonderfully by everyone you encounter.
I’ll start gameday festivities Thursday night with happy hour somewhere. Real fun bars all over. Friday will consist of gameday prep, tailgate food, liquor supplies etc. I imagine tailgates will be ramping up about 3-4 that day. Myself, I’ll probably start with some breakfast at the Cats Paw for a needed base. Get chores out of the way and would like to be at Specs by about 2. Work my way across the street to the stadium a couple hours later.
If you visitors have any questions feel free to chime in here. This board has a plethora of info and most members here have awesome tailgates I’m sure you’re all welcome at. Should be a great pregame, and a great atmosphere overall.
Safe travels to all of you and your team as you make your way to Gods Country!

Myself and two other friends along with all our boys age 9-12 will be making the trip 300 miles from the east that day. Pull the 5 boys out of school at 11 and hammer down! Dress warm!

We are leaving Lewistown around 1:00, stop in Livingston for something to eat and check into our room, then off to the stadium, should get there around 5:30.
Just letting Tribe fans know to wear their colors and come through the tailgates, you will be offered drinks and food everywhere and get some good football talk. Montanan's are welcoming of travelers, just don't move here.

I haven't been in there in 40 years, but all I remember them serving was beer and liquor. The Filling Station used to serve chili. The Scoop used to serve popcorn. The Catspaw? Hmmm...

Re: William Mary Roll Call
Seems like breakfast is their most popular. They serve it all day. Rest of their food just seems like regular bar fare; burgers, sandwiches and chicken. Actually their broasted chicken is awesome.Augustus wrote: ↑Tue Dec 06, 2022 10:51 pmThe Catspaw serves breakfast?ilovethecats wrote: ↑Tue Dec 06, 2022 9:42 pmI’ll probably start with some breakfast at the Cats Paw for a needed base.

But yes, any time I’m there it’s usually for breakfast. Chicken fried steak or biscuits and gravy are great.
Looking forward to a day filled with drinks, food and friends! Have a couple buddies flying in around 2. Can’t wait.

It's been a few years since I ate at the Cat's Paw, but yes, I recall the breakfast being great. I remember the pancakes were light and fluffy. Pancakes, eggs and bacon. Dang, now I'm hungry!!

Yeah, don’t knock the ‘Spaw. Excellent chicken fried steak. Used to be 10 bucks, not so much anymore, but still delicious. And their broasted chicken is pretty good too!Augustus wrote: ↑Tue Dec 06, 2022 10:51 pmThe Catspaw serves breakfast?ilovethecats wrote: ↑Tue Dec 06, 2022 9:42 pmI’ll probably start with some breakfast at the Cats Paw for a needed base.

+9. Tailgate set up at 4 and fire going by 4:30, mostly due to our subpar Boy Scout skills.

Is it common for a Montana State bobcats fan to travel to a football game?

Re: William Mary Roll Call
Four of us will be there. Two-hour drive early Friday afternoon, early dinner at Sidewinders, hit a few tailgates, another brat & a cookie in the stadium, celebrate one more great Bobcat victory, spend the night, breakfast Saturday morning at The Western Cafe and then two hours back home. And then re-watch the game on the DVR!!!

I'll be coming from Billings after work, pick my brother up in Big Twig on the way. Hit up the Galt Tailgate for some grub and then it's game on! Gonna be a late night drive home, hoping the roads will be in good shape... I know they were crap earlier this week. As in closed around Livingston....
Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

Re: William Mary Roll Call
We heck I might as well go. I got tickets and all.
Now, are there any William&Mary fans coming?
On the road this week, it will be about 420 mile drive for me.
