Re: Playoff Tickets
I just went to Tickets West and took a look. In addition to SRO there are tickets available in 101, 102, 103, 105 and 106. Not many, but more than 1.

I saw the lone ticket in 106 after I read what you had posted. Don’t be so hard on yourself.CodyCat wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 12:58 pmIt’s probably more likely that I’m an idiot. Re: Playoff Tickets
I am a bit shocked that there hasnt been an announcement that the student tickets are sold out. In fact, the only post made about it was encouraging students to get their tickets. Pretty odd to me.

Re: Playoff Tickets
I wonder if it's because with it being a playoff game there technically aren't any "student tickets" (meaning free tickets the university paid for through student fees), they're just all tickets. Or maybe students aren't interested, I don't know. That just doesn't seem likely to me. Is finals week next week? Could that be an issue? Never would have been for me haha.

Re: Playoff Tickets
There are student tickets, they just aren't included as a part of the student fees. They are still free but that is thanks to community donations that technically bought all of the student tickets and donated them to the students. Sounds like nearing all of them being gone. https://twitter.com/MSUBobcats/status/1 ... b61Rx0GyqQkennethnoisewater wrote: ↑Wed Nov 30, 2022 11:52 amI wonder if it's because with it being a playoff game there technically aren't any "student tickets" (meaning free tickets the university paid for through student fees), they're just all tickets. Re: Playoff Tickets
Some tickets now showing up in section 124, guessing those are tickets that Weber didn’t buy and have released.

Most of these are tickets Weber released back to MSU. SRO tickets now on sale. A few random tickets on the box side. It's gonna be a packed house.Montanabob wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 11:38 amWhat's the deal?????

Re: Playoff Tickets
I cant believe how many open seats are available in the lower section of 107. Apparently almost zero Weber fans are coming. Thats honestly really disappointing.Bocephus wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 11:43 amMost of these are tickets Weber released back to MSU. SRO tickets now on sale. A few random tickets on the box side. Re: Playoff Tickets
I'm disappointed for Weber. I know they're not the biggest show in town, but it's a great program that's been in the BSC a long time. I wish they could get a decent fan base. That's good for everybody. I worry about the future of the BSC even with the historically great programs like EWU and Weber because outside of the MT schools and Sac St (lately), we're just not getting good crowds, and at some point those programs have to start wondering if they can afford to support an expensive sport like football if nobody cares.CodyCat wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 12:08 pmI cant believe how many open seats are available in the lower section of 107. Re: Playoff Tickets
That what I don’t get about Weber and EWU. Weber must have some decent financial support, they have a nice new football facility and even an indoor practice facility. Weber wins and fields a decent product, heck they even beat Utah State. Weber also has a pretty decent student population. Still no fans though.kennethnoisewater wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 12:19 pmI'm disappointed for Weber. EWU has poor facilities, not much financial support (even with all the NFL players they have fielded), an okay but not overwhelming fan base, and they still managed to field pretty dang good teams, this year is being an exception. You would think with their winning tradition they’d already have the cash for that new proposed stadium, but nope.
I won’t be surprised at all to see Northern Colorado, Eastern, and Portland State dropping football completely or dropping down soon.
