Re: Hardy Interview
If that interview doesn't rip your heart out and you don't silently root for the Rams, you don't have a pulse.

Damn! Great interview. Glad he was a Bobcat and still is. Definitely a high character guy and wish him the best! I will certainly be following him throughout his career. Well done!

If there's a Daniel Hardy interview, I'm watching. One of my all time favorite Bobcats.

Re: Hardy Interview
I haven't had time to watch it yet, but being 2 very liked players ended up on the same NFL team i think made us all become temporary Ram fans.

Brilliant interview! Daniel is such an impressive man, and is on the cusp of making Hardy a name to remember… always!

Re: Hardy Interview
Watched it over lunch. Rarely do you see an NFL player give almost a half-hour of his time for any interview.
What an impressive young man and Bobcat alumnus. Those of us who live/have lived in Portland know there is still some good there.

Re: Hardy Interview
MSU has had some amazing ambassadors throughout the years and Daniel is on a very short list as one of the best. This kind of thing defines what makes a favorite of mine a favorite. It’s not solely on-field performance. It’s back story, attitude, education, respect, loyalty, selflessness, and all the other qualities that make an exceptional athlete into something even more special.
Kudos to the interviewer in guiding the conversation just enough to stay on track, but letting Daniel tell his story without interrupting. It let Daniel be thoughtful and honest, and not just give another canned interview. Very well done.

Re: Hardy Interview
Agreed on all points. And I was going to say how good this interviewer was too. Not exactly sure what it is about his style besides what you said (though I think there's more to it), but I thought he was good.tdub wrote: ↑Thu Oct 06, 2022 12:36 pmMSU has had some amazing ambassadors throughout the years and Daniel is on a very short list as one of the best. His expression when the letter was signed...."Dad". I was tearing up the whole time, but lost it at that moment.

Re: Hardy Interview
Wow, just wow. New definition of “professional” football player. And professional interviewer. I’m happy Daniel is getting a chance to know and work with the best. He fits right in.

I didn’t realize that he got a pick-six to win the game for his dad’s one and only game here…. Pretty sweet story overall, really hope he gets his shot.
