I predict Glessner is top 5 in career scoring by end of the year, including playoffs. 2 more years and make it to #1

I’ll be interested in seeing head coaching wins as this season progresses. Vigen came into a completely different situation than the last handful of coaches did and he’ll benefit from that.
I’m sure he’ll be at or near the leader in wins in a coach’s first two years and likely be cracking that top 10 by the end of his 3rd year.
He will pass the Pearl in total wins as an MSU head coach soon. Pearl had 15 wins in 5 years.
That was a long ten years… I remember we gave up the most points in the nation one year. I think it was 404.

Yep, longest 20 years in Bobcat football.

I have brought this up every year ever since Kirk graduated... which was a while ago... and from the looks of it they still have not updated on the website- but looking at the 2022 record book, Cody Kirk is still missing from the Career All Purpose Yards list. Just his rushing yards alone would put him in 5th place.

Also, I have always questioned the Career Rushing yards list number with Chris Murray... The msu record book has him in 9th place with 2,375 yards. i dont think that is correct.

In an article that Colter put out today, he stated that Murray had 1,878 career rushing yards. This sounds more accurate to me, and this is what I'm going with until someone proves otherwise.

Tomcat... Are you still helping the school with their online record list???? The kirk thing drives me crazy every year, not seeing it updated. Also, if you could confirm the murray career yards that would be awesome (and if inaccurate, help fix the schools record list).

FYI…I know the official stats have Valdez having a forced fumble this past week but it was actually O’Reilly. But if they don’t change it I guess it doesn’t matter.

Valdez punched the ball out from behind. How did O'Reilly force the fumble?

There is an angle that clearly shows 47 pulling the ball out as he gets pushed by.

Confirmed by Garza. One of the replays showed O'Reilly's hand pull it free just before the arrival of Sebas.

Sounds good! It was a huge play by both guys either way.

For those in the know. Are any of the other players in the top 10 in sacks defensive tackles? I just wonder how unique it is that the player who leads the team in sacks is not a defensive end or linebacker.

It’s very unique as is Valdez. A lot of knowledgeable football people think he’s the best player in the BSC and will play in the nfl.

MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

The only one that I remember like this with a D tackle and lots of sacks was Corey Widmer....snd he played in the NFL.

Just a note, there is almost always a common theme when he gets a sack and it wears a 10.

Those two just crush the left side if lines.

Brody Grebe's pressure has led to so many of our sacks this season. Eventually those numbers will rack up for him!

Someone might have posted it, but Dowler and Johnson may end the season high in the top 10 for punt/ kick return yards and avg.
