I don’t envy Vigen this week. Enjoy the win tonight, but BIG decision looming tomorrow. Tommy or Chambers next week at QB? If it were me, I’m staying with Chambers…. Good thing nobody’s asking me though, right?!?

There is not a single person on the Nation that was somewhat worried going into this one with Chambers getting his first start with the Cats. That dude flat out made us all look dumb. That dude showed up, that dude put this team on his shoulders and that dude is the reason our home streak is still alive. Game ball….Mr. Chambers!!

Great win against a good team. A fun, but very late night.
The key sequence was getting the interception right after their successful fake punt. This team seems to have a knack for getting key breaks at the right time-like getting the EWU fumble last week.

Tommy gets his starting job back and that’s that. Chambers had a massive game and he’ll still be very widely used. Tommy is the starter unless not cleared to play.

I’m not certain. Does Tommy NEED to be the starter next week? Would he benefit from being used sparingly and worked back into the game to see how he processes things and deals with hits?

I think Chambers starts…and I think we see Tommy in spot duty.

Not sure why people are wondering who starts next week, Chambers is making plays and scoring, The ability to have a Duel threat QB offense is got to drive the Opponent’s Defensive Coaches to a whole new level. I say who cares who starts as long as the team stays together and rallies around both of these guys, we might have a offense that gets us back to Texas, question should be what about the defensive side what adjustments can be made to stop the runs and attack the passer, while holding receptions to a minimum. But what do I know, I am just a old rookie on Bobcatnation… Go-Cats… Great Win tonight.

I would be a bit surprised to see Tommy playing next week especially in light of the Tua situation. Chambers was a stud and if he has another game like that it would be pretty tough to not start him for a 3rd.

My thoughts exactly, no need to rush Tommy back with the upcoming schedule of ISU and UNCU back to back. Concussions are nothing to mess around with. When healthy, they'll both play as in the first three games, and I'm not sure it matters one bit who the named starter is.

And we have a winner. There is never a good reason to rush a player back from a concussion. The job MUST be Tommy's when he returns. Otherwise, players will be much more inclined to try to hide injuries going forward. That being said, why rush this? Chambers' play should have nothing to do with this decision in any way, though.

TM suffered a bad concussion. I want to cheer for a team that only prioritizes his long-term health, not wins. He should only return when he is symptom-free. If MSU has to lose every game the rest of the year (they won't) to protect these young men from themselves, so be it.

Chambers play has literally everything to do with the decision and he’s shown he’s the better QB. Why MUST the job be Tommy’s when he returns? Players aren’t going to hide injuries for fear of losing their role. They compete with each other day in and out fighting for a larger or even a starting role on the team. Players are fully aware of what’s at stake.

Chambers better be Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week! I thought he deserved it last week....they can't ignore that performance from last night...incredible. The guy is leading the FCS in TD's!
