I know it's not football but at least the Cats were able to steal one recruit away from NDSU.
"There's a chance." He would consider playing football at MSU. Yes please. That's a wonderful idea, if you ask me.
Depends how serious he is on track. In highschool, he lost some track time due to injuries.

Grad transfer from USD - 82 receptions for 1,157 yards, 9 TDs over 4 years (32 games). Had some nice return yardage as a freshman but looks like USD went away from him there. Only had 12 catches for 168 yards and a TD last year in 10 games.

I feel like MSU has a lot of depth at WR, at least in terms of not needing to bring in a 1 year player who was mildly productive in the MVFC...

EDIT: Looks like he's been fairly injured over his career but was fairly productive when healthy, so those total stats don't tell the whole story. I like this stat:
2019 - Tied a USD single-game record with 11 catches and had a career-high 144 yards and two touchdowns in the season-opener against 25th-ranked Montana (8/31)

He has tons of FCS offers so far since entering the portal on 4/11.

Bill Dolan two-way all state at Capital High. Played WR for UM. Graduated with my sister from CHS. She went to UM, too. Nice guy. Our daughters played hoops together at State Games about five years ago.

MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

He’d be a great get! Wonder if they’ll use him as RB versus WR…he’s very similar to Andrew Patterson. Probably not as fast as AP but super shifty and a great route runner.

I’m convinced our very small WR coach is out to prove a point about size!

Well that does it. Stop letting FBS schools use our research on players.

UW lost a few more...
Over the weekend, the one-time 4-star rusher was removed from the Husky roster, along with sophomore edge rusher Jordan Lolohea and junior defensive tackle Draco Bynum, signifying their departures.

This young man has "Montana State '26" typed on his twitter page and is followed by a lot of coaches, including Vigen, but hasn't tweeted any offers or commitments. I'll keep an eye on him.

Looks like he originally signed with Southern Oregon. Here is the info from signing day. We must be giving him a chance to walk on.

LUCAS TUSKI | Eugene, Ore./Marist HS
RB | 6-1, 215 | HIGHLIGHTS
Notable: Ranked second in the state across all divisions as a senior with 1,785 rushing yards – averaging 137 yards per game and 11.2 per carry for 31 total touchdowns … Led Marist to a state championship game appearance.
Coach's Quote: "Lucas is a big, strong, powerful back. He's a physical guy who makes defenders feel his presence when he runs. Lucas will add a great deal of physicality to our run game." – Austin Brown
