I am sure a lot of these guys will be bulked up to around 300lbs or over before Fall camp. We have a lot of good sized young men.

We do have good size on the O-Line. Now they just have to get stronger. Vigen and the new strength coach have had less than a year with the team so we need to give them some time and see what they can produce. Getting stronger has less to do with the strength program and more to do with the individual. How hard can you work.

I'm not the least bit concerned with the OL. It's going to be very good next year and moving forward. I thought they played well in every game this year. Even the WSU and UM games. I think our offense struggled in those games due to the game plan more than anything. If there's been problems with the offense, it hasn't been the OL. Overall, it's been the biggest strength of the team the past five seasons. Maybe longer.

NDSU doesn't dominate OL only due to the 5 key positions. multiple TE and fullback sets allow for extra blockers and they do a great job of involving then in passing game as needed

I hope Kettles can get healthy. He was a big recruit out of highschool, the only reason we probably got him is cuz he was coming off an injury.

It sounds like he might have been a starter this last year, but again got bit by the injury bug...

Hope he can put all that behind him.

Kettels played his senior high school season with a torn ACL - and still had multiple FCS offers and a few FBS offers out of the PAC 12. He was was lined out as a starter after Wood left. Worked hard on rehab all season and actually called O-line sets and plays from the sideline last season next to Rovig. Good learning experience and teaching opportunity and will make him better as a player. He's listed at 6'4 but pushes every bit of 6'5 and was at 305 before the injury. Currently in "Gaining Season"... as in weight. He will be ready for spring ball and is going to be one of those 310 possible 315 guys. My guess is he will eventually be one of the leaders from the O-line.
