I saw part of a pickup game between some of the players the other day and I saw Branden Johnson for the first time. I really liked his shot a lot and I think he can be an excellent player for us.

Yes, but seems every time the subject of the Johnson brothers  we get a report Braden. Even when I ask specifically about how Chawn looks I always get a report on Braden!!

Has anyone seen Chawn play. He should be tough to miss 6-9 250. I know he exists I saw him at the games last year. I would love a report!!

I believe I saw him that game too, but I'm not certain. However, I don't know who it could have been. Whoever it was has a few very nice blocks. He has a couple nice ones on Marvin Moss. Defensively, he was pretty good.

I really think it would be better to transfer.....why not play for Mark? He would be an instant star and not have to listen to doubters. It might be better for him academically also.....

Why drop down to play for your uncle when you can stay at MSU, where you've been born and raised and play with the big boys. The move would make no sense and there is no way that he would be better off academically. I really hope he is indeed staying- he's a Bobcat.

Going to Western to be an instant star doesn't sound like Casey. He's worked damn hard (see walk on) to get where he is. He has earned the right to play for the CATS no matter who the coach is!

Can you explain one scenario in which transferring to Western would be even remotely better for him academically? I can't think of a single one, but I might be missing something.

I know, I know ... cheap shot ... but it's just what I do.

I think that Casey is pretty far along in his business degree, and it makes nearly no sense to transfer right now. I know that he has 2 years of on-court eligibility left, but I don't see any reason for him to transfer to UM-Western.

GO CATS!

I really hope Casey stays, and I think he will. He has always shown a lot of guts, and I think everyone really repects him for that. I can really see him doing very well in a role like the season before last (but a little more prominent, and he will still be a leader). Coming off the bench, aggressive with great D and hitting some clutch 3's. I, for one, will really be pulling for him.
