Any information on how ticket sales are going? Looks like good weather, so I would hope we'll see a large crowd.
By looking at the site, I’d say roughly 2/3 is sold. A ways to go from being sold out and I’m not anticipating that it gets there, but definitely looks like a solid turnout so far.

Really hope we get into that 14-15k+ range that actually show up.

You're probably about right and I find that sad. Yes the result in Missoula was beyond disappointing but we're still a seeded playoff team and have a chance to go deep into the playoffs again. The weather is going to be better than we could ever hope for. I'm planning on making my usual 1,100 mile roundtrip trek for the 7th time this season.

Weather is always a big factor and this is probably the best weather for a December game in history. Everyone will still be driving home in the dark but at least it should be relatively warm and light out for most of the game.

Eastwood, did not make it. Ball out! Recovered, by Montana State!! The Bobcats hold!!! The Bobcats hold!!!

Are you sure? I heard only 6k were going to the game. 🙄

To be fair, the Albany game was around 14K in 2019. I would be thrilled with 14K honestly. It's not only travel, weather etc. but an extra expense people may not have planned on, especially around Christmas.

Looks like they released a bunch in 107, I don’t think those were there last time I checked. I think in the past that may have been visitor seats so maybe not many Skyhawks making the trek? Sure hoping sales pick up a bit. Not concerned about the crowd impact, playoff crowds are always the best regardless of size but just be nice to send these seniors out with what is likely their last home game with the best crowd possible.

Agreed. In regards to attendance I think the students are the biggest factor. We need those kids to pack that end zone. The energy they provide spreads across the entire stadium.

I’d LOVE to see us get 15k in there Saturday! [-o<

The “stand up and cheer” line made me think of this again:

If only the band could learn a different set, and march properly.

Ohhh, they spelled VIM. woohoo.

The exact same show for each game. Boooooooooo

Hope they jazz it up.

Whining about this takes my mind off the pathetic punt returning.

Carry on.
If you knew the preparation and time needed to get a marching band set implemented for the season you wouldn't be asking them to change it up. This isn't an HBCU when the marching band literally eats, sleeps and breaths marching band. It takes the director alone 100+ plus hours to make the formations and be sure that where he has the band in the amount of time they need to get there is achievable. Add to that the adaptation of the music for instruments that are not in the arrangement to begin with like flutes it all takes time, so you get one set a year.
Actually I do understand the work involved. It is a production. Lots of work. Yes. Understood. Like herding musicians. Worse than cats.

Just the work getting from stands to stadium floor can be arduous. Tuba.

But they are the marching band. Are they not? HBCU or Big Sky, still a band. Still march.
I have known one or two over the years, they live it. Etc. this time, at band camp …. You saw the movie.

No reason not to strive to be better.

Anyway it was just deflection from the issue at hand. Distraction.

Happy happpy
So you decided to deflect by unnecessarily trashing the band? Good work.
Unnecessarily?

I disagree that the SotW was trashed. Just critiqued.

my apologies

Happy Thanksgiving
I understand the deflection and can appreciate it. But I'm going to stick up for the band. I'm not sure what MSU's music department is like, but it's not exactly a department that MSU is known for. This band is so much better than it was even 10 years ago, and I'm thankful for what they do every home game. Makes the gameday experience so much better. And Rob Ash deserves a lot of the credit for the band at football games.
I really would like to get some excitement for a home-home series with Grambling.

Great band, of course, but also, some football tradition.

It would be a win- win.

I brought this up a couple days prior to the coaching finalist were listed, but no one connected the dots. Coach Eddie.

I know, strange mind. Socially distant before social distancing was cool.

Anyway, really getting excited for this UTM game. Should be a great day.

Curious to see what the offense brings.
Rumblings of “best athletes on the field in all phases”.
Players with chips on their shoulders and something to prove.

I am sad that I didn’t get a game day but I won’t let it keep me from showing up and cheering.

I have reason to be upset.

These fair weather enemies are a joke. They not fans so I won’t call em that.

Positive energy

Save the “eat sh!t grizzlies” for next year. Focus on the foes present and in our bracket. The time WILL come.

Stay in the moment.

LOVE THESE CATS!
