Seems like it’s for Snyder who just made a post about his commitment - so makes me think there’s still 1 unknown guy.

Snyder kinda reminds me of Connor Sullivan, just a few inches shorter (for now). Not sure he ends up at WR or TE. I'd love for the Cats to have a Cole Grossman type TE.

Jake Rendina committed to Army, surprised the instate schools let him go - I thought he'd be a perfect FB/Powerback for us.

I guess what I meant is I’m surprised he never got a MSU/UM offer.

Good for him though - army is a perfect fit

Any idea of the Drake offer, compared to MSU offer if there was one? Seems weird to choose Drake over what we have as MSU if the offers were even close to even.

Drake doesn't offer athletic scholarships, so technically all their players are walk-ons. Sounds like he played WR, but Drake likes him as a TE.

They do offer "need based" financial assistance though. Not much different than a scholarship for players if the family doesn't have the money.

Yep....I'm sure they offer need based as well as academic merit based. I have no idea of his need or his academic merits.

I’m not sure there was even an offer from MSU or dumb. I just thought it was interesting a Montana kid getting an offer and accepting a non-Montana FCS opportunity. Good for him. Doesn’t happen a lot.

Quite possible he just wanted to go to school away from home. There’s some crossover with Montana university degrees maybe they had something in particular in mind for him. They do have pretty good placement with their alumni.

Not often you see a freshman make all conference at LB.
His dad played for the Cats and his mom was a stud athlete as well. She is Arie Grey’s sister. Good genes!
