This post gave Robbie 4.5 more tackles. He’s up to 6.5 now and the Griz haven’t even played this week.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 11:17 amI love Singleton and he was a great Bobcat, but praising him for the amount of tackles he gets while mocking little Hauck for the same thing is pretty ironic.

They’re certainly generous with the stats.Joe Bobcat wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 11:34 amYou'd maybe have something there if there was the slightest chance that Alex was getting credit for tackles he didn't make or assist on. The thing is that young Hauck's numbers from a number of games have been questioned by many and not only Cat fans.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 11:17 amI love Singleton and he was a great Bobcat, but praising him for the amount of tackles he gets while mocking little Hauck for the same thing is pretty ironic.
Tackles are just a bad statistic to judge play on. I wish they had a “tackles within 3 yards of LOS” stat

Bingo. Excellent post. BB is a little late to the game on the whole Hauck/(whoever that MLB was) and how they'd get about twice as many tackles at home games as they would away games. It seems to have gotten cleared up this year.Joe Bobcat wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 11:34 amYou'd maybe have something there if there was the slightest chance that Alex was getting credit for tackles he didn't make or assist on. Exactly. I remember Choate alluding to recounting Haucks tackles in a game on film and...curiously coming up with a very different number. But many outside of the Bobcat world have also noted this curiosity.Joe Bobcat wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 11:34 amYou'd maybe have something there if there was the slightest chance that Alex was getting credit for tackles he didn't make or assist on. Important questions though,
1) When was the last time a Bobcat led the NFL in tackles. Ever. Let alone nearly halfway through the season?
2) When was the last time a grizzly ever led the NFL in tackles?
3) Has anyone in the bigsky conference led the NFL in tackles ever? Besides robbie hack?
I don't know and that's why I'm asking

Yeah, it's pretty cool. If the Eagles fans don't like him, I'm absolutely fine with that. They're a boring team, always have been. Playing in the shadows of the Giants, Cowboys and Redskins...and Steelers. I'd love to see Alex come back out west and play for a more 'local' team. If there is such a thing.

Also regarding Alex, I encourage anyone and everyone to watch Ashley and Alex on YouTube. Very inspiring and those videos deserve way more views than they have. They should be going viral for sure

Unfortunately, at least as far as Little Hauck goes, that just isn’t accurate. I wasted far too much time, and I only did the regular season games, but Hauck had 61 tackles in 6 away games and 59 tackles in 6 home games in 2019. Now, it seems like the Griz statisticians are pretty generous with assisted tackles, so you see multiple players with 10+ tackles during their games. Didn’t see that as much at away games.iaafan wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 2:00 pmBingo. Excellent post. Hopefully he'll find himself on a team that appreciates him and aren't just complete trash all the way around. Eagles used and abused Alex for pennies... I hope they end up last in the league. FTE.MSU Toddler wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 10:40 amhttps://www.inquirer.com/eagles/eagles- ... 20314.html

The Eagles are one of the teams that are looking hard at Troy Andersen.luckyirishguy25 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 10:46 amHopefully he'll find himself on a team that appreciates him and aren't just complete trash all the way around. I'm confident Alex will get picked up, at the very least he would be a special teams Ace anywhere in the NFL. At the most he nabs another starting role as a run stopping tackle machine.

Two starting linebackers from MSU on one NFL team. They would probably get an advertising contract with Little Caesars.Montanabob wrote: ↑Tue Mar 15, 2022 11:17 amMaybe he and Troy can get in the same team and the eagles don't draft troy to replace him for pennies
MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).
