Watching PSU game
My father just asked me how to watch the game this weekend. I’ll not be around a tv so will be watching via my phone. Not sure if he’s tech savvy enough to use his phone . Any helpful thoughts?

I think we need a sticky for this subject. The game will be on ESPN+

Are only the home games on SWX or are all conference games going to be on their network?

Re: Watching PSU game
I will be listening while heading down I5... Is the BOBCAT audio on demand, pay, and should a guy just try KGHL for example?

Re: Watching PSU game
So it looks like this year MSU has partnered with a service called The Varsity Network, and they have an app. You download it, select Montana State as your favorite team and it will give you alerts when something is live. I've been getting alerts when Cat Chat goes live and streaming it has been just fine. Haven't tried a game yet but I see PSU listed as an upcoming event.
There are other ways but that seems pretty straight forward, and it's free.

I know it’s on ESPN+, that’s how I said I was going to watch. IS THERE ANOTHER WAY is what I wanted. Sounds like the msubobcats.com method will be easiest for the technologically challenged older folks that are also fans.

Re: Watching PSU game
I’ve been able to pick up the audio for years using the Radio Pup app and streaming the Bozeman XL 100.7 station directly. Bluetooth it to your truck speakers and listen in comfort. Oh, and keep looking out the windshield, too!

Re: Watching PSU game
As usual... it seems like there's ALWAYS some uncertainty surrounding game coverage. I believe the game starts at 3PM MOUNTAIN, but they're showing 2PM, assume that means Pacific time. Secondly, is this an audio stream only or full video?CelticCat wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 11:56 amSo it looks like this year MSU has partnered with a service called The Varsity Network, and they have an app. You download it, select Montana State as your favorite team and it will give you alerts when something is live. Re: Watching PSU game
Did anyone else experience timeout issues with the feed on ESPN+ for the Cats game? Not experiencing on anything else. Totally sucked!
Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Re: Watching PSU game
I don’t know what kind of problems you are talking about…..they didn’t stick around and comment on the game much…just went to commercial or went to a standard screen with a note the broadcast was on a commercial break. But always got back to game before it started so didn’t miss anything. But I was gagging by the end of the game because of the same Pepsi and Behr commercials running over and over and over and over and over….MSU Toddler wrote: ↑Sat Sep 25, 2021 6:42 pmDid anyone else experience timeout issues with the feed on ESPN+ for the Cats game?
