And another jersey conundrum. I don't think that is Zach Black who's listed as 56. Hehl?

Where are you seeing that? All their schedules are 4 Home/4 Away based on what was posted on Twitter.

And one hell of a hint of an extra year of eligibility by having troy with the 2023 schedule.

Wouldn’t that be two extra years? I’m all for it!Montanabob wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 9:43 pmAnd one hell of a hint of an extra year of eligibility by having troy with the 2023 schedule.

Re: Future Big Sky schedules
That's a bunch of $HIT! Why are we getting shafted like that? When there was talk about leaving the schedule as is for 2021, but it would lead to the CATS hosting the Griz two years in a row... everyone bitched about it so they changed it up? Maybe I'm mis remembering but having to play at EWU two years in a row really sucks. Maybe they should switch the 2024 game and have EWU travel to MSU, then back to EWU in 2025 to get things back on track.

Re: Future Big Sky schedules
Here is a link to Eastern's site. Looks like a normal 4-4 schedule to me. We go there this year, they come to us next year.
https://goeags.com/news/2021/7/24/footb ... dules.aspx
Well, their '24 schedule has them with 6 home and 2 away......that HAS to be a typo???
edited a second time.....
The banner on the page shows their home games in red and road in black.....it has them with 4-4 every year. At the end of the article is a schedule that has the incorrect '24 schedule. There is a headline blocking the last games for each of the '22 and '23 schedules on the banner.

Everyone needs to remember that the conference reverted back to the 2020 schedule because of one single game.catatac wrote: ↑Sun Jul 25, 2021 1:51 pmThat's a bunch of $HIT! Re: Future Big Sky schedules
Cal Poly goes to Missoula this year and next. Griz go to NAU this year, don't play in 2022, and go there in 2023. Seemingly that one game SNAFU'ed the whole conference for awhile.
I bet there are more of these "inconsistencies" throughout the conference.

Re: Future Big Sky schedules
Yes, true. What I'm saying is, (and maybe I'm off base and don't understand how the scheduling played out), when they started looking at the scheduling options due to how Covid effed everything up, my thought was that you just forget about 2020 and any teams that opted to play games... do that on your own and get your scheduled figured out. Just keep 2021 the same to make everything easier. But keeping 2021 the same would mean that some teams (like Cats and Griz) would end up playing at the same venue 2 years in a row, so Griz would have to play at MSU in 2019 and 2021. That didn't fly because of how unfair it was so they revamped all the schedules... league games, which leads to reshuffling already set non conf games, etc. All that done, and we have to play EWU on their red turf two years in a row because of all this? Just seems unfair. If it were UNC or something like that I'd actually be way less concerned, but when playing the elite teams in the conference... playing them at Bobcat Stadium is WAY better, and we all know these games have playoff implications.

National tv the day before rivalry Saturday?! That would be huge exposure for both teams and for the conference. The problem is I don't think the griz are gonna want to play a night game in Bozeman in late November.
