Decisions, Decisions
My baby brother is FINALLY getting married this week-end. I am the best man. This is actually the first time I have ever been a best man in the wedding. The wedding is Saturday late afternoon........ Do you see the problem!? Is it proper ediquet to have one of those small ear pieces during the wedding. I figure I can cancel my hair cut tommorrow and no one will notice. Come on no one would notice, its OK isn't.

My brother played wide reciever for the ....Griz. One of the fellow groomsmen is ranked quite high (like 2nd) on a number of Griz record lists (he may still hold a record or two I am not sure). They will have to fend for themselves.FlatheadLakeCat wrote:If you brother is a bobcat, you and him could share an ear piece. But, we all know who is in charge of weddings and its not the groom.
best of luck to you.

Then he should have known better than to schedule his wedding on the first day of the season! His loss, you are free to wear the earphone and listen to the game. Just don't let the bride catch you!mslacat wrote:My brother played wide reciever for the ....Griz. Not to mention to sudden outbursts of cheering! Last year against CSU when Lulay busted that 40 yard run, I stood up and smashed my head into my bed frame which is off the ground above me. That freaking hurt.kmax wrote:Then he should have known better than to schedule his wedding on the first day of the season! His loss, you are free to wear the earphone and listen to the game. Well when he asked me if I would be the best man, we talked about tuxes. He asked me if I would like to wear a Kilt. I told him no, but for my brother I would, I just won't like it. When he asked about date I told him September I would deal with, I just won't like it, BUT if the date goes into November he is pushing his damn luck!!kmax wrote:Then he should have known better than to schedule his wedding on the first day of the season! Be careful mslacat, I was at an awards ceremony last year with my hidden radio in my suit jacket, and small ear piece rigged up through the back of my shirt coming out just below my ear, both the cord and ear piece were skin tone. I thought no one noticed, but, then came the disapproval of many who did notice. Had to take the ear piece out, too many did notice once word started spreading. So, I made a lot of trips to the men's room to listen for updates. Many of the guys who knew what I was doing were flocking to the can for updates also. As I listened, I had to give them a play by play bathroom broadcast. At the end of the night, several in attendance were appalled by my listening to the game, but, I did get to listen to most of it. You will not go unnoticed!
